The most beautiful holiday I have ever had. This is such a relaxing place. We were upgraded to a corner suite, opening out on to the pool , heavenly. Perfect sunset and the best valentines ever. Being all inclusive the food was maybe the best I have ever had, banana bread and local granola for breakie, catch of the day...

The staff is wonderful, friendly and helpful. This is a small quiet resort. If you need a bar scene or loud conversation you should go somewhere else. We met the owner at Monday night's cocktail reception and the property manager who visited our table the first morning at breakfast. The property is built on a hillside with a mid-sized private...

My boyfriend and I spent four nights at Calabash Cove over President's Day weekend and absolutely loved it. If you are looking for a quaint and quiet getaway, this place is perfect. Although we stayed in one of the "lower end" rooms (108), it was very spacious, comfortable and had a large balcony with a beautiful view of the ocean....

Thank you for wonderful review. We do appreciate your genuine feedback. With regards to your concern with the wifi - coverage is stronger in the lobby and at the pool bar -however in the some areas it could be intermittent - we having been working closely with our service provider to assist with improving this issue - there have been...

I totally loved my stay with 'calabash cove'. Staff was super friendly and 'at your service' types. While sitting on beach, I wanted to have fresh coconut water from the garden. Staff made it a point to get that for me even though they had to go extra mile for getting it from tree. I was touched by the gesture....

Outstanding accommodation, food, location and staff, for couples - my wife and I went with my brother and his wife - we had a "Cottage" almost on the beach (with own plunge pool), they had an apartment. Both excellent. We did not take full board but ended up choosing to eat there because dining was so good, with good singers/musicians...

We were wanting a unique place, that was out of the ordinary, and not packed with tons of people and pool games. Calabash Cove seems liked it fit the bill so we gave it a shot for the past five nights. We chose one of the ten cottages and asked for the most secluded one. We were given cottage number...

Absolutely the best place I have ever been! The food was 5 star. We can't wait to go back! We are hoping to make this a regular trip. The staff made us feel like royalty and we didn't want to leave. It felt like we left family behind.

Stayed for a week at Calabash Cove on an all inclusive basis. Overall really enjoyed it, but a few ups and downs. Beautiful setting, from the moment one walks in to reception everything is angled towards the sea. Room was spacious although the layout (bathroom open to the bedroom) made it a little awkward to being staying with a friend...

Over the last 45 years or so, my wife and I have traveled to most of the Caribbean Islands and at Calabash Cove we have found one of the the very best best places to spend a week of quiet luxury. We've just returned from 18 glorious days at this stunning resort. If you love visiting the Caribbean but are a little jaded with typical tourist hotels, and want somewhere very special, this is for you. At Calabash less really is more: fewer people, no buffet queues (in fact no buffets), no shortage of sunbeds, no over-priced facilities you didn't want...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Tucked away on gently sloping, tropical beachfront on the northwest coast of the island, Calabash Cove is one of just a select few five-star resorts on St. Lucia. Nestled in the sheltered bay of Bonaire Estate, Calabash Cove is perched on a hillside sloping gently towards the Caribbean Sea, where cool ocean breezes provide a wonderful respite and the turquoise sea is offset by the vibrant green of tropical vegetation and views of Walcott Island. A private beach and nearby coral reef provide the perfect place to rest, reflect and dream. The resort has been designed with great care to complement and exist in harmony with the beauty of the natural surroundings. The main buildings of the hotel, such as the lobby, restaurant, bar, sanctuary, and infinity pool with waterfall lie on a slope, with the villas in the midst of lush vegetation perfectly situated to view nightly sunsets. The natural elements of earth, wind, light and water are represented in the exotic wood, stone and natural materials used in the composition of the buildings. The peaceful and tranquil gardens, under the care of one of the finest landscape architects in the Caribbean, have been created to capture and optimize the natural splendor of the area and are filled with vibrant, fragrant flowers set amid groves of trees. ... more   less
