We came here in late March/early April 2024. The weather is fabulous - lows in the lower 70's, highs in the mid-80s. There really isn't anything not to like about this place - the worst would be that our room - the Bouganvilla Suite - was a bit small. Not a big deal, though, considering we spent most of our time in our private jacuzzi pool! (Oh, and the road going up to the hotel is terrible - unpaved and very steep - but it does keep down the traffic).
What I liked specifically about the room: - Views of the majestic Gros Pitons are unbelievable - almost magical. I really don't think you can get a better view of the Pitons from any other hotel. - The jacuzzi is naturally heated and available to you personally whenever you want; it's just outside the back door of your villa, it is secluded/private. - The atmosphere is quiet, serene and relaxing (everywhere, not just the room) - Lots of beautiful hummingbirds and other native birds that you watch from your pool or the shower in your bathroom! - Re: the above, the bathroom in your suite has a beautiful shower with a full wall that is made of wrought iron and it's open air. While this might be uncomfortable for some, you have privacy and no one can see you as you shower. You, however, can see the beautiful hummingbirds drinking the nectar from the little tube flowers along the wall. This is a very unique setup, and I recommend it to anyone who loves nature and watching birds.
Outside the room, I liked: - The staff - they are all really kind, helpful, and professional. Everyone went out of their way to ensure our stay was pleasant and all went above and beyond in meeting our needs. - The food is fabulous - better than restaurant quality - chef-made and worth it. We did not do the meal plan - we don't eat that much - but breakfast was ample, and dinner was the best you can get anywhere on that island, in my opinion. Very quiet, lots of attention from the staff, and not crowded. The fresh catch of the day was always outstanding, and the desserts were expertly made. - Snorkeler's cove - don't forget to go snorkeling there. Ask the staff how to get there. It's a bit of a hike but worth it.
All in all, it was the most rejuvenating vacation I've had in a very long time. We spent a lot of time in our little private jacuzzi, and it was great! It is paradise.
I'm sure there are other great things to say, but those were the big items I thought important to share.
The only thing that really was a downer was the road/drive to get there. Be prepared for a bumpy ride.

Wife and I took a couple's trip to Saint Lucia during the holiday season for a much-needed vacay and sunshine. Caille Blanc is perfect for a couple's trip. Honeymooners, anniversary, or otherwise. Strong recommendation: book the Grotto Suite or Pool Suite. It's worth it. I believe it'll shape your entire outlook and experience.
Property: Infinity pool with the view of Pitons make the trip worth it. Wifi is strong.
Food: Amazing and experienced chefs. The team of chefs has decades of experience from other Saint Lucia luxury properties. Food can be costly and your location in the mountains leave you with few alternative options. Nevertheless, food is great.
Room: We stayed in The Grotto Suite. It's worth booking your trip around its availability. Note: Each room has it's own strong wifi connection.
Service: Great customer service is a key takeaway from my experience. Everyone was wonderful. Property Manager, room service, drivers, and security.
Transportation: This was surprisingly costly to me. Surprising, because you learn about the taxi cost at the end of your stay during checkout and not as you book it. They should consider changing this and informing you of taxi cost prior to each trip. Good news: Your drivers wait for you until finished. You'll need a taxi if you leave the villa to take day trips, dinner dates, or excursions (i.e. Mud Bath, ATV, etc.). Bad News: You're in the mountains. Low/no alternatives. If I visited again, I would want to get a better hold on this.

Thank you for this fabulous review and we hope that you do visit us again. I’ve noted your taxi comment and am confused as our proprietary app clearly indicates all transportation costs as excursions or travel is booked. We would never leave this to chance or not inform our guests of costs and while I agree transportation costs are high some are outside our control and are government mandated and regulated (airport trips). This aside having an experienced driver who caters to your needs and security is paramount. As you noted Caille Blanc Villa & Hotel is the perfect couples adult only resort with fantastic views, food and service and each of our suites in various price points offer all of these amenities. We appreciate your descriptions and recommendations. St Lucia and Caille Blanc Villa & Hotel await your return.

Stayed a week Valentines 2020. The folks that work here love the place and it shows. Only 10 min downhill walk to beaches. Great snorkeling $11 US an hour there (leave your equipment home). But the salt water pool. You will never the rest of your swim in a more magnificent setting.
Warning it is 1.5 miles up a very bumpy poorly kept road from Soufriere and driving back and forth is quite a task. Recommend you use their cab service (also excellent) and eat a few meals there (food is good). Other then the lower temple room you have a great view from your private porches at 1/2 the price of the nearby Jade.
Tips: Stay 4-5 days and relax. Mystic Man boat tours will pick you up at Chasnanet beach to save the bumpy ride to town.
2/3 of way to Jade is a primitive side trail to a small beach you can have to yourself though its rocky. There is a pier on the dirt road to Mame beach go sit and watch all tropical fish schools swim by.

This place is a scam. We paid more then $800/night to stay in the suite and the first day we got there the room was filthy, there is no maintenance and during the night we couldn’t sleep because the windows were slamming, the umbrella was broken and doing weird noises while flying around... I am Italian and the food was worse then an Italian hospital (with all respect for Italian Hospital). Because I am celiac and intolerant to dairy I ended up eating steamed rice, chicken and bananas for 2 days, the third day we left (2 days early) with no willingness from the management to get any refund, with the excuse that hotel.com didn’t allow them to do it. A simple bank transfer is a great refund anyway, right? Because our money hit their bank account. Anyway.. we flew home, this was our 2 year wedding anniversary and they completely ruined the celebration while ripping us off. If you really need to go to St. Lucia, avoid this place.

We are sorry to hear that your stay was not up to your standards. As I explained during your stay: 1) the tropical winds can sometimes whip through the property which can cause the jalouise windows to flutter and cause the water from the infinity pool to run off. I appreciate that you asked us to stop the waterfall but we have no ability to stop the winds that caused the runoff; 2) as soon as you advised your room cleanliness was not to your satisfaction our housekeeping staff went to your suite and addressed your immediate concerns and I was told that your issues were addressed to your approval; 3) my comment on the refund was that you would need to contact hotels.com to make the adjustment - that is standard and any payment would have been reimbursed through them. As far as our food, I can appreciate that with your medical condition your choices are limited but our staff tried to accommodate you as it would any guest with special requests preparing special food items, shakes, eggs etc. Again it’s unfortunate that the charm of our hotel may have escaped you as so many guests before you and the guests after you have enjoyed and loved their experiences at Caille Blanc Villa & Hotel. We hope that we have an opportunity to change your mind in the future and recommend that you stay in a suite set back on the property away from the water and winds edge.

We have been back home for two weeks now and despite returning to work, work and more work, felt it important to take the time to write a review, to point out the amazing experience we had at Caille Blanc during our recent visit We were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary and opted for St. Lucia. We are experienced world travelers and expect a high level of beauty, cleanliness, location, hospitality and service when we choose a location. Most places come highly rated and meet the high bar we have set. This was one of those all too few occasions. when our high expectations were exceeded by the location, room and staff. From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Ernie, we were in fine hands. Caille Blanc is very small. Just a handful of suites. We booked the Grotto Suite and if it is available, we highly recommend it. So many reviews highlight the views, the clean rooms, the absolute privacy and individualized service and the infinity pool and lets say the view again. All was amazing, but we really loved the service. Often times there were just 4-6 guests onsite at any time, and we seemed to have the staff to ourselves. Ernie was the day to day face for everything and anything, from booking excursions, securing a driver, to keeping food and drinks flowing. The other staff members were among the finest we have seen. Marilyn and Andre operated a top level kitchen. TiKesha, Barnabas and Imanner were gracious breakfast , mid day and dinner hosts. Never far away ,but very discreet and not over the top. Ms. Simon kept out massive suite immaculate. Peter was forever walking around the property, keeping everything clean and tidy, from the lounge chairs the private pool in the Grotto Suite and the multiple small hideaway areas, all waiting with a view of the Pitons and the ocean. We never saw a glass or dish left around. Anytime we wanted a view with privacy, we found it ready for us. Unlike a larger site, where the good places are taken. Here, you can relax and secure the best seat in the house without a worry. The website pictures are enticing, but actually don't capture the reality. We rarely return to a country, as we always love to experience new places. However, we will make an exception for Caille Blanc. Everything we wanted for a quiet, beautiful relaxing break.

I can’t imagine there is another hotel on the island with a better view. The Villa is located perfectly on a cliff where you can see the clear blue ocean below and also an unbelievable view of the Pitons.
Views aside, we stayed in the Pool Room, which was great. The rooms have a unique middle eastern design that fits in really well with the scenery of the island. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Me and my wife felt like we were staying at a place that should cost three times more than it actually does for the room we got. In addition, the staff is very attentive and very polite. The hospitality was much better than any hotel I’ve stayed at in the United States. The hotel drivers are awesome and very helpful. They made me and my wife feel safe on all of our excursions and were always on time when we were ready to head back to the hotel.
The only downside, in my opinion, is the food. I’m not sure the meal plan is worth the cost. The menu is a bit limited and the food tastes below average, in my view. On top of that the cost of the food is too high when compared with other restaurants on the island. The food is the only reason I didn’t give a 5 star review. Despite that, the cooks are very nice and are more than willing to accommodate any requests you might have.
Overall, this Caille Blanc is an unbelievable value for the cost. Like I mentioned, while staying here you feel like you should be paying way more the incredible view, luxurious infinity pool, and attentive staff. I would definitely recommend to anyone traveling to St. Lucia.

Thank you for your review and kind words. We’re sorry you felt the meal plan was not worth the cost and the food was not to your taste - we try to offer a wide variety of flavors including American theme, local specialties and Asian style options. It is possible that you may be able to find local restaurants with lower pricing for an individual item but the preparation of our food and the inclusion of an alcoholic beverage with our two course lunch and our three course dinner cannot be met. We hope that this will not dissuade you from visiting us again and look forward to your next visit.

We visited for our honeymoon. Booked everything on the Manet app before arriving which helped with the ease of everything. They sent a driver to pick us up from the airport and allowed us to stop at a store for some food along the way. Having never traveled to St Lucia before, it was nice to have someone to take us where we needed to go. From the moment we walked in, hospitality and customer service was second to none. From Ernie, Hilarius, Jesse, Peter, Ginny, the kitchen staff, Nicolai and the drivers, and the entire staff, were all always willing to go above and beyond. We stayed in the Grotto suite which was more than spacious and had very nice amenities. The private pool and soaking tub were very nice additions and a spacious deck for taking in the awesome view. We arranged travel through the app to some other resorts for dinner for half of the nights and ate at the pavilion the other half of the nights since we didn’t have the meal plan. The drivers were always very helpful to help make sure we got to the restaurant in a timely manner and would wait nearby until we were done. The food at the pavilion was also always very good and the drinks are fantastic. Having breakfast ready every morning was an ease and it was always delicious and plentiful. The lunch menu was also nice if you want a full lunch or a quick snack during the day. There isn’t a bad item on the dinner menu and the chef is always having something new and fresh for the specials of the day. Local Anse Chastnet beach can be reached by foot or by a quick drive as well. The property is incredibly well-done. All of the details in the decor and the architecture are unique and ornate. The grounds are well-kept and beautiful. All of the villas are separate so there is plenty of privacy and very little noise. If you’re looking for a great high-quality place to stay without breaking the bank, Caille Blanc may be your best option. We really enjoyed our stay and will for sure be returning when we return to St Lucia.

This place blows you away from the moment you walk in. The views of the pitons are the best on the island. The rooms are simply incredible. We were blown away by the decor, space and ambiance of the room. Our room was the pool suite which we highly recommend given how the main pool literally feels like your own private infinity pool. We didn’t have any unwanted insects or bugs come into the room or bathroom. The dinner service was amazing. The way the staff engage and personalise their service really blew us away. They catered to our needs given we were vegetarian and even increased the breakfast selection to accommodate us. This place really make you feel special and ended our tour of St Lucia in the best way we could have imagined.

Everyone already knows that the views from here are amazing, but it really was special. We didn't want to leave the property because it's such a gorgeous place to hang out. We stayed in the sunset suite and I like that we could see the sunset from our little terrace. The room also felt private, I was worried it wouldn't feel that private but it actually did. It's near the pool and also near the secondary bar/den area that they have but it's far enough away that we felt very comfortable there. The staff was also super helpful and accommodating. The drinks are a little pricey if you aren't on the meal plan but not completely unreasonable. We brought some of our own rum and they didn't mind.
The food was great, some of the best that we had on the island. We decided not to get the meal plan as we wanted to explore some of the other nearby unique restaurants (treetop and hotel Chocolat) and just feel free to eat while we were out adventuring without feeling like we wasted money on the meal plan which I think is too expensive if you don't either drink a lot or eat all of your meals there.
The only thing I would change about this place is the silly app they use to order things. They use this app called 'Edgar' and you have to use your phone to order anything! If you want a beer, you gotta go find your phone and pull up this app and click a bunch of buttons to get a beer. It's pretty ridiculous. This is way more troublesome than just asking someone for a drink. You also use it to try to arrange for tours and order dinner, but they end up verbally confirming everything you order on the app anyways. I found this to be cumbersome and interfere with the relaxing vibe since you have to constantly use your phone to get things done instead of just talking with an actual person. Call me old school, but I prefer not to have to use an app to order drinks when I'm chilling poolside.

Thank you for your kind review. We’re so glad you had a wonderful stay and hope you’ll return. We also agree that using Edgar can make the experience between staff and guest a bit impersonal. Unfortunately it was instituted to maintain distancing for health reasons and approved by the government. The St Lucian government has now relaxed some of the protocols and while excursions and transport will still be available for pre planning through the app; meals and drinks will slowly be removed. As of April 1 we are returning to our special breakfast buffet and the rollout of other in person ordering will follow. We believe the best part of the experience at Caille Blanc Villa & Hotel is our team and we want guests to enjoy that St Lucia hospitality.

From the moment James picked us up at the airport to Ernie & Wilma greeting us at the resort with rum punch, we knew this place is extra special. We stayed in the unbelievable Grotto Suite It is literally a whole floor by itself with its own balcony, pool and outdoor tub. It felt like we were looking at a green screen because the view of the Pitons was AMAZING. The room has so much wood detail with a kitchen, couch, TV and all shutter type doors that open up to enjoy the view from laying in your bed. Very clean and well kept. Now the staff, AMAZING!!! You are greeted all the time by name because it is such a small and intimate place and everyone cares about all your needs. We enjoyed breakfast and lunch privately outside our room and dinner upstairs in the outdoor dining room. After dinner we had a drink by the outdoor fire pit. We were lucky that the owner Alisa Coleman was there at the same time as us. She was quick to greet us and made sure we all felt like family. We did the unlimited package and the food chefs Andre and Francesa cooked for us was delicious. We can't forget about Barnabas the bartender making his Old Fashions and Dirty Martini's for us each day. This it truly a breathtaking, boutique resort and was exactly what my husband and I needed. We will definitely be back!!!

Hi. All are very close to one another. As for food, I think it depends on the dish. Had dinner at CB twice, one great the other good. Ladera's restaurant was very good. I'd skip Rabot as i thought it disappointing, but i would definitely dine at Treetop. It's also close by, has the best view of all the restaurants and the food was great.
There is a trail to walk down to the water, part of the hotels property. Although, it is pretty steep. Once you get to the bottom, there are chairs and rocks to sit on, and an area you can swim. Make sure you take a decent break, because once you start back up the hill, you’ll be out of breath once you get back to the top.
There are more places to choose from in the Soufriere area.
