We were really excited and looked forward to staying at this property but I must admit they did not even meet our expectations. Upon check in we were greeted but not informed or any amenities on property, not given directions to the restaurants, gym, spa or anything on property. It was literally a hi hello give me your credit card and sign here. No customer service at all! This is the prime opportunity to set the stage and it was set alright, set way low. Our stay was split between garden view for 1 night and then ocean view for the next two nights. Chalon room I would rate 2 stars. Comfortable bed, nice outdoor area with a good size plunge pool but the inside needs to be updated! 2nd room was raintree much better with decor for 2022 but the bed was absolutely uncomfortable and squeaked with every single movement you make. This room I would give 3 stars. Breakfast was really good and the views at the property are amazing! However this property manager needs to train employees on how to provide exceptional customer service because o would not visit again and pay a premium for subpar service.
We were visiting for a special occasion and the resort staff did not even acknowledge this at all. They inquired why on a paper upon arrival we gave it to the employee and she didn’t even say congratulations or anything.

While many honeymooners choose this resort, we are in our early 70's and we did not feel out of place. There were guests of all ages. We stayed for 7 nights in a villa with the Piton and ocean view. Except for 2 snorkeling adventures and the Project Chocolate tour, we mostly stayed in our villa's pool or on the chaise lounge chairs. In the afternoon when we wanted to escape the sun and heat, the air conditioned bedroom was a welcome relief. The sheer splendor of the Piton staring down at us along with the view of the ocean....it was a 'pinch me, am I really here' experience. The birdsongs, the mass of beautiful plants, trees and flower. We were living in Technicolor (& you certainly don't get that at home in New Hampshire in February). Also, it was good to know that room service was available though we only used it once. We will definitely go back - it was one of our favorite vacations!

This resort has a lot of potential given the location. The views were breathtaking and each room has its own private pool. The service from the staff was mostly a miss where we had trouble getting them to care about anything we pointed out. Our concerns/queries were sometimes not even acknowledged. The restaurant on the property has amazing views with a decent breakfast but lunch and dinner was extremely frustrating with slow service and very limited vegetarian options. The food we did get was also not great tasting and overpriced. We stayed in a different resort in the island for the first half of our trip and had a nice stay. Given the higher price tag of this place, it wasnt meeting even basic expectations of service/friendliness.

A wonderful 3 night stay at Stonefield. We spent 3 wonderful nights at this resort, staying in the Jarcinda suite which offered incredible views of Petit Piton, a spacious and comfortable living area and a wonderful bedroom and outdoor shower area (one of my favourite features of the resort) along with your own private pool.
Both breakfast and dinner was delicious and our servers were attentive and provided a pleasurable experience.
Service at both breakfast and dinner at times were very slow but despite this, it was still a plesant experience at the onsite Mango Tree restaurant. I really liked the bread basket and different home made jams at breakfast I thought that was a wonderful touch.
Overall the staff and front of house were always availble, friendly and accomdating to our needs. I would recommend this hotel to celebrate a special birthday, anniversary, honeymoon etc - it truly is spectacular!

My wife and I spent 3 nights at this resort,in February 2022. The resort is set in beautiful hill side location,with lush greenery everywhere.The setting provides a very quiet and private stay.The villa we were given was large,with a separate sitting area,a very large bedroom,and a wonderful outdoor shower.It also had a huge deck with a swimming pool. The views from the villa of the Petit Piton and the ocean are breath taking. The staff at the resort were wonderful . The restaurant served excellent food,at very reasonable prices,compared with the other resorts we stayed at. We stayed at three resorts during our vacation,which included Caille Blanc and Sugar Beach Out of the three Stonefields was the one we enjoyed the most.

We recently stayed here with just our families and got married on site. We rented the 5 bedroom villa and had plenty of space! The views from not only the villa, but the Mango tree restaurant are breathtaking. Each villa is tucked away in the jungle giving you plenty of privacy! Every worker on site is so friendly, always asking how your day is going and if there’s anything you need. The restaurant has great food, only downside is that they only switch up their menu once or twice a week. We chalked it up to them not wanting to be wasteful with their resources! There’s plenty of other restaurants in the area for you to venture out and try. The town of Soufrière is just 5 minutes away and has grocery stores and restaurants, otherwise other resorts nearby will take you in with reservations. We would go back to Stonefield in a heartbeat and will plan on it for an anniversary trip some year!

The best bang for your buck and we looked at many resorts nearby. We initially booked a ocean view villa but we’re immediately upgraded to the 3 bedroom suite ocean/piton view for no extra cost! I still don’t understand why besides the fact that no one booked it for our days we were there. Amazing service and a great location to all excursions. Food and drinks were awesome. Would recommend this resort to anyone planning to stay in St.Lucia!

We decided to elope when our original wedding plans were canceled and we couldn’t have be happier. Staff at stonefield really went out of their way to accommodate us. They created a custom package, made a custom cake flavor (lemon with strawberry filling was amazing), brought us a special gift, and really just made everything fun. I decided to do my own hair and makeup so they provided a separate room to get ready. The photographer was impressive as well. We stayed in the jasmine room. The view and pool were perfect. This seems to be the bigger ocean view room with a full kitchen and seating area. If you don’t need all that, I recommend the room across from it instead because the bathroom and kitchen area are open air, meaning bugs get in lol. If you want to make coffee and use the restroom without worrying about bugs (it’s the rainforest), get the room across from jasmine. If you don’t mind bugs and want more space, jasmine is perfect. The bedroom is closed off so no bugs there. We also stayed at sugar beach a few nights. It’s much more expensive there and I thought stonefield was just as nice and we felt like we had the place to ourselves. Sugar beach was crowded. The food was great, breakfast was included daily, drinks were strong, and staff was friendly.

This place has amazing views and the location is ideal if you are wanting to do the popular excursions. The restaurant on site is great, minus the buffet night (would probably skip that). The menu doesn't change, that's one thing we were hoping for. We unfortunately had two issues during our stay. Part of the ceiling fell during the night (we were ok but our stuff was covered with drywall). They upgraded us and the following day our new villa had a pipe burst and the entire first floor was flooded, including some of my stuff that was on the ground. The resort made it right, but unsure how often maintenance is performed. Staff is beyond friendly and helpful.

We also assess potential repairs proactively to prevent future issues. The resort's water supply is managed by the local water authority, and an unforeseen fluctuation in water pressure led to some damage, resulting in the water leak you experienced. Our first visit to St. Lucia was a memorable experience mainly due to our stay at Stonefield Villa Resort. We wanted something more than a beach resort and looked for a more private setting. Stonefield was over the top with dedicated villas with all the features of private pools, fantastic views of the Petite Piton and Ocean which could not be matched in any other resort in our opinion. Despite only having 17 total villas the resort did not lack for any of the extras. The grounds were well maintained and the Mango Tree restaurant had great food and great views. However, the biggest plus about Stonefield were the staff and how were made to feel special. Starting with Valna at reception, Chef Roy and our favorite bartender Melissa and several others they made sure we had a great time. It was so wonderful that we are booking a reservation for next year. Did not even talk about how cool St Lucia is and the proximity to Stonefield for many of them including outstanding restaurants
