This is an older, smaller resort hotel as would probably have been typical on St. Maarten about 20-30 years ago. It's been nicely maintained, though, and the island style gives it a charm that most of the modern mega-hotels on St. Maarten lack. Its rooms are big and traditionally furnished; we got one with an oceanfront view and it really...

This is a fun, funky Caribbean place. so nice to not be in a typical resort high rise. Got stranded with flight cancellations due to blizzard and the staff was SO VERY kind and accommodating to enable us to stay the extra night.

We have just returned from a week's stay at Mary's Boon Beach Resort and had the best vacation ever! Our room was on the second floor of the main building with a full ocean view of Simpson Bay. When we arrived we turned off the air conditioning and spent the week with the window open listening to the sound of...

We use to eat here every year when we vacationed here. Then it was sold and was terrible. We heard on the beach the original owner has it back. Went this week and it was not only fabulous but extraordinary in price. Had incredible strip steak in an amazing mushroom sauce. Cannot say enough great things about Mary's boon

Mary's Boon is a hidden gem. Beach front, cold pool, Dogs and cats, porches to get out of the rain showers, we had an amazing stay. If you want the Hyatt, don't stay here. If you want a true Caribbean feel, this is it. Comfortable ocean front room with full size refrigerator, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker. Just what you...

Nice hotel, looks a bit tatty from the road, but inside is old fashioned but nice, very near to the airport and runway so there is quite a lot of noise, but flights cease at night. A 20 min walk from Maho Beach , if you want to see the aircraft landing at Princess Juliana (check it out on you...

We looked at staying here but opted for a condo down the beach. We had to check it out so stopped by on a walk for drinks and were impressed. It was fun, had good tunes and good drinks in a beautiful stretch of the beach. You can't go wrong on Simpson Beach and the property had a nice restaurant...
