Elegant, charming boutique hotel. Although some areas of St. Martin has not been rebuilt since the 2017 hurricane, Bleu Emeraude is new, beautiful and spotless. Many nice extras thrown in, such as adaptors for you to use, coffee available all day, full kitchen (unexpected), daily cleaning (also unexpected), and nice thick beach towels we were able to take in n excursions. Great location. There are MANY restaurants within a 10 min. walk, and small markets and shops. Prepare yourself for some sticker shock at the more elegant ones; but there were several others that didn’t charge $72 for a beef filet. 😳We did not need to rent a car. Separate temperature controls for bedroom and living room; rooms were very spacious, as was the bathroom and over-sized shower. The front desk staff was super friendly and helpful. Everything is kept in pristine condition. We were right on the beach; comfortable lounges provided. Forgot to mention there was a full length mirror in the BDRM and nice makeup mirror in the bath. I would definitely recommend it here!…
My wife and I had spend three very tense months dealing with family matters and just wanted to get away and decompress. This is the ideal spot. Our first floor room gave us direct access to the south end of Grand Case Beach, which was essentially our private beach. The ~10 apartments are fully equipped and air-conditioned. Our primary activity was lying on the beach and swimming, but they have snorkel gear and paddle boards if you want some more exercise. I did the former. We did not rent a car, since an incredible number of fantastic dining spots - from lolos to haute cuisine - are within easy walking distance. A grocery store is nearby too, so we could buy food for lunches. (Watch out for the crazy drivers!) The best feature is the staff! Kelly and Frederic took care of every issue, large or small and made the vacation the perfect stay it was. We'll be back!…
Management / Hosts: Kelly and Frederic were AMAZING! Before our trip / arrival we sent several inquiries re: our booking, the hotel and their amenities. Both were timely with their responses. Wonderful as we prepared to ensure accommodations necessary were available. This was helpful as my boyfriend has insulin that requires proper cooling and storage - the fully equipped kitchen that includes a full refrigerator (not one of those mini hotel fridges) - was exactly what we needed. A refrigerator that kept his medication cold, his travel ice packs frozen and a full kitchen that allowed us to cook meals that helped to balance his insulin levels. THANK YOU both for your friendly and so very helpful services Lodging / Room: Booked a one-bedroom apartment; 2nd floor. Spacious, clean and very open. The bathroom extra large and daily cleaned and all towels refreshed with new. The bedroom, equally as spacious and provided sufficient closet and drawer spaces for our entire trip. The bedroom cleaned daily and linens refreshed. The living area - kitchen, dining area and living room - open and inviting. Full view of the beach and pristine waters. Made for very relaxing and serene moments - while watching TV, cooking and eating. The living room opens up to the patio where daily we found ourselves just relaxing on the lounge chairs, listening to the waves and enjoying the island views. PLUS: Washer - helped to keep all our clothes washed during our entire stay. We didn't have to take dirty clothes home! Continental Breakfast: Complimentary from 8a - 10a daily. We've been spoiled ... the baked goods were just delicious. My favorite, the mini croissants and the jam/jelly-filled pastry. The other baked goods and breads were very good too, but these were our favs! Coffee maker - good for use all day - and what seemed like freshly-squeezed OJ. I've never been an OJ fan; after this experience, I am hooked. Other Notable Mentions: Walking along the beach towards the dock is far more scenic and idyllic than walking through the street/roads. The same path beachside, you'll encounter other hotel lodgings with restaurants and weekend evening bar scenes. At the dock, you'll find great 'lolo' restaurants and shops. This was our go-to when we didn't not want to cook or venture on a drive. CONs: During our stay, we did experience water outages. Although inconvenient this was 'not' a showstopper for us. Frederic and Kelly kept us informed, updated on repair progress and provided water / bucket. First outage was late afternoon through the evening; repaired by the following morning. The second was on our last day (check-out), which made for a challenging morning as we prepared to check-out and leave for our very long flight back home. Again, not a showstopper - we were equipped with our bucket of water and once again provided with several large bottle of waters. Something to be prepared and open for considering instances such as this can occur. Just go ith the flow. …
My wife and I came here to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary and this will not be our last time. Frederick was fabulous and met our every need. The room was spacious and the housekeeping folks did a great job keeping it neat, tidy and leaving extra beach towels. The beach was perfect. Comfortable chairs and umbrellas. It is located close enough to downtown Grand Case to be a brief 10 minute walk to amazing restaurants but far enough away to be very quiet. Falling asleep to the ocean waves every night made our week an anniversary we will never forget!!
A wonderfully curated prooperty that truely cares about its customers and offers a fantastic holiday experience. The team is sincerely friendly and helpful. We look forwrard to returning again to stay here with our family the next time we travel to the island.
I've stayed at the BE before (almost 10 years ago) and returned this past July for 8 nights. I came back because the first time was great, and this time was even better. The staff (Kelly and Javier (excise the spelling) were really nice, friendly, and helpful). The room itself was spotless, spacious, and had incredible views of the beach AND mountains. The location is perfect. Accessible to anywhere on the island. I can't wait to go back and enjoy the hotel and atmosphere. PS: there is a new chicken/pizza place opened across the road - very delicious food. Les 3P
My husband and I recently spent 6 nights in this lovely, small hotel. It is fabulously situated on a beautiful beach with stunning views just steps away from the crystal clear ocean. The one bedroom apartment was spacious and very well equipped with an excellent furnished balcony. Very comfortable sunbeds with sun shades on the beach. A simple continental breakfast is included with delicious bread and pastries and fresh orange juice. The hotel is an easy walk from a number of top class French restaurants especially Le Cottage which was a real treat. Highly recommend - we will definitely return!
Bleu Emeraude feels like our home away from home. We stay here every time we visit St. Martin (our 6th time already) and they never disappoint. The beautiful and serene view of the beach it's right at the hotel's steps. The rooms are impeccably clean and comfortable!. All of them include a fully equipped kitchen and I really appreciate it even has a Nespresso machine. Frederick and Kelly provide exceptional service and really go out of their way to make our stay the best one. We won't even consider staying anywhere else! We just got home, yet we can't wait to go back!
This was our first, but not last visit to this fabulous little property on the beach. We arrived from our previous hotel and met Frederick, who helped us to check in and suggested an amazing restaurant for our first dinner. We had a one bedroom apartment, which has a spectacular view of the sea and beach. It was great to have a washing machine, as we were in St. Martin for two weeks. Our suite was very clean and it was wonderful to skip out of the front door and swim in the turquise sea.Tthis is a very well run property and we especially appreciated Kelly, sho acted as reservationist, front desk person and concierge. She is amazing and her enthusiastic, warm and knowledgable approach to everything makes her an extremely valuable asset to this property. This hotel is so well located and we loved being able to walk or taxi to the many incredible restaurants. The only slight flaw was the lack of landline in our room and the fact that there is on one at the desk after 6 p.m. I hesitate to write this review, as I consider the Bleu Emeraude to be a hidden gem. I hope that our room is available for our next visit!…
We had wonderful 3 night stay at Bleu Emeraude in a beachfront studio room. This ground floor room was amazing because the walkout first provides a covered area with two loungers, and then next was our own outdoor terrace with cushioned seating and a table. And then a few steps down from that, we are on the beach. They provide cushioned loungers, a table, and an umbrella on the beach, and the swimming immediately in front of the hotel was great. The hotel is secure with a keypad code to get into the hotel lobby, and then a code to get into the room. It was nice not having a key to carry around! On security, the room also had storm/security metal shutters which could be raised/lowered with a push of a button which covered the entire window side of the room. The hotel has free parking, with parking spaces both outdoors and underground. The kitchen area is well equipped and has both a dishwasher and washing machine (although no dryer). If you plan to use the washing machine, you may want to bring some laundry pods with you. There were a few dishwasher pods in the cabinet under the sink. The bed and linens were very comfortable. The AC worked very well. The bathroom was well equipped and had hand and rain shower heads. The continental breakfast was self serve on the second floor, with tasty breads/croissant, fruit, juice, coffee, etc. that we carried back to our room to enjoy on the terrace. The restaurants/bars are a short 10-15 minute walk away. We didn't mind the walk, but some people may find the first 5 minutes of the walk to the restaurant area not great because of the minimal sidewalk and walking beside cars passing by. Bleu Emeraude is on the quieter end of the beach which we think is a big plus, but the beach bars are still just a few minute walk down the beach, but enough to be away from the fray.…
