In planning a vacation trip returning to St. Maarten, and knowing we wanted to try staying in Grand Case. I researched different places but kept coming back to, Le Petit Hotel. The reviews and high praise I read sold me on the place.
Their slogan is "for the lucky few" and it really is. This place is a small beautiful spot on a magnificent beach. The place is run by Remy and his wife Yamina, a couple of truly wonderful and accommodating hosts. The room was huge and...More
My new wife and I have decided Le Petit Hotel was the perfect choice for our honeymoon. We stayed in room 2 for 6 days with the terrance that has steps directly to the beach. The room was great. Remy, Yamina, and Miriam were excellent....More

It sounds like you like to cook so a trip to the main French market would be advisable. It is called Super U and a 15 minute car ride from hotel. We also have Carrefour which is larger and has a wide variety of American products as well as European. Carrefour is 25 minutes from the hotel by car. There are little superettes within walking distance of the hotel to get small items, 5-10 minute, safe walk. Yes, all markets sell wine and spirits. You can check Shop & Drop for groceries to be delivered. Can't use URL's here but just google Shop and Drop St. Martin. Le Petit Hotel does not have a grill. Yes, the kitchen is well equipped with what you mentioned, including a microwave. You can view pics of the kitchen on our website. We start you out with beer, water and soft drinks, along with a baguette, pack of coffee and a few snacks for your arrival. This does not get replenished daily.
