One of the better hotels I have stayed at in the Caribbean with good value. Rooms are large, nicely appointed. Nice complimentary welcome bottle of rose. Unfortunately you only get 2 bottles of water your entire stay, the rest of the time you have to purchase at the restaurant, gift shop or nearby groceries. The Sunset restaurant has amazing views, friendly service. The pool is wonderful as well. And the 2 sets of beaches accessible from the hotel offer soft white sand and calm waters to swim and relax in. Service was also friendly and inviting. Great on site parking available as well. Walkable to all Grand Case has to offer, especially the wonderful restaurants.

Thank you Gary H for your thoughtful and positive review! You hit many of the points that make us (quietly) one of the most successful resorts in the region. I do need to clarify...we do supply the bottled water as a convenience to our arriving guests, but our tap water is purified and every bit as drinkable as the bottled water, minus the waste of the plastic containers. This is something that we are in the process of bringing more attention to, as many of our operational aspects are very environmentally positive and we have been this way for a remarkably long time. We do hope that your travels will bring you back before too long, we will look forward to sharing the many improvements with you that are an ongoing part of our business culture

Hotel's Favourite
The mark of a really good Hotel/Resort is when the GM is away it runs like clockwork, continuing to provide great service by super friendly employees. Nowhere has this been more evident that in our first return trip to this property in over 4 years. This year we brought 3 additional families ( we have recommended many more friends and family to stay before) at the time when GM Stephen Wright was on annual home leave and little did I know when he placed me in the hands of Laura Pikullik, who is in charge of Marketing/Reservations and to Lynn Taylor, Rooms Manager, along with their colleagues, how well we would all be looked after. We were arriving from Anguilla where I was officiating my nephew’s wedding and after the wedding I wanted to introduce this wonderful island and its amazing property to family members some of whom had children. Of course Anguilla is magnificent with its resorts and views but it is also expensive and the huge resorts almost keep you trapped on their properties without much of an opportunity to explore. No such issue with St Martin with its restaurants, shopping and beaches. With so many to take care of, Laura was truly professional as well as sympathetic to all of the changes, pick-ups, drop-offs, requests for information and voluminous e-mails and calls I made. She took care of all of our requests and seamlessly made our transfer from Anguilla to Grand Case with apparent ease (making it seem easy even though I know she had much to coordinate). It was wonderful to see the property upgraded and many familiar faces. The welcome wine in our rooms was again a nice touch. The Pool is new, the restaurant under new management (though we miss the courtesy breakfast that is no more) with a great selection for meals all during the morning, lunch and dinner. Safety and security were again well taken care of and having a nurse provide covid testing every evening was very helpful. The travel desk is still there and the gift shop expanded and renovated. Check in and out areas were upgraded and the old huge safe locks are still in effect along with handing in and receiving daily towels. The laundry facilities are upgraded although from time to time needed maintenance. A new feature is the ability to pre-order food and sundries and have then ready in your room at check-in. During this pandemic period, very helpful especially to those with young kids. Several new cafes , eateries have opened since our last stay, pharmacies and supermarkets. Renting a car is a better economic option than taking multiple taxis which can add-up. Sadly we missed the opportunity for the Managers meet and greet as we had a farewell dinner at the Orient Beach which is full of restaurants of all varieties. A reminder to my fellow travelers that all the employees work really hard to provide you with an amazing stay. Please remember to add gratuities especially but not limited to Housekeeping. Planning a return

Wow! What a wonderful review, and please accept my apologies for not being present at the time of your stay…but I am very proud and pleased that your impressions were favorable and your expectations met. We are blessed with equal parts of amazing guests, amazing owners, amazing staff and an amazing location. It is for me, a wonderful privilege to work with assets such as these. Thank you for your visits…and for your recognition…your words will be shared with Laura, Lynn and all of our team! I read your note just as I returned from our weekly Guest Mixer, which was much missed during the dark days of the epidemic. We will look forward to seeing you again soon!

My daughter and I just had the pleasure of being a guest at Grand Case Beach Club. We had such a lovely stay. The room is exactly as advertised. The water is crystal clear, the room impeccably clean, the restaurant affiliated with the hotel was delicious and the staff was lovely. The hotel has such a wide beachfront that you did not feel crowded at all. You were always able to find a seat in the shade. The hotel is a quick walk into the Grand Case restaurant area. The food was absolutely wonderful. We can't wait until we can return. It is a very special hotel!

Truly awful experience - every opportunity for the hotel management to discuss but no one was interested. We checked out after 3 days having paid for 14. Once they had the money no one cares. Not recommended at all.

First, we are truly concerned when our guests are less than pleased with us and our lovely little property. A quick scan of the many glowing reviews is evidence of our efforts and commitment to our clients, of whom we have a great respect and affection for. Many return year after year after year...and GCBC is known for having amazingly loyal guests...and staff! So...when reading a review such as this, of course it gets our attention and concern. I am honestly sorry that we obviously did not meet the expectations of our visitors, and for that I am regretful. But to be called uninterested, well that is just not the case. We are a small property, and have limited room and bedding types. We take requests as to the type of bedding, such as King or Double, but as we clearly indicate, we do not guarantee specific bed type or locations. In the case with this situation, we were able to accommodate the request for 2 rooms close together, but unable to give the requested two beds in one room and a king in the other. On arrival, the guests stated their displeasure, and as we did have a very recent cancelation, both requests were able to be fulfilled after a bit of juggling with the incoming arrivals. This did take a bit of doing, but was well done. We attempted to contact the guests to see that all was well, but as is often the case, we received no response...as we thought that they were out and about, enjoying the beautiful beaches, warm sea and sun. The following day, we noted a less than happy indicator regarding their check-in, and or staff immediately responded and contacted the guests, and were told something to the effect that "my wife will be in touch". We were willing to do whatever it took to make these guests happy, but were simply were not given the opportunity. The next time that we encountered them was as they checked out, 3 days into a 14 day stay. They made and paid for their stay through a third party, and any refunds have to be through them. Again, we certainly have failed if a guests leaves as have these, but I do stand by my warm and welcoming staff, who are well able to deal with all manner of issues...as they did with this one. I and my management team are always available to assist and support both guests and employees to make every stay as positive and exceptional as possible. IWE all hope that the departing guests were able to find accommodations more to their liking and go on the have a wonderful holiday.

We had an amazing time at Grand Case during our stay in June. We are a family with one teen and had plenty of activities and local options to enjoy. We rented a one bedroom with a loft. The room was spacious and had a fully equipped kitchen. The balcony was also large enough enjoy a family breakfast every morning. The views were amazing! Grand Case had two beautiful beaches with plenty of soft white sand and warm, calm water (free of sea weed and rocks). There were always plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas as well as free use of snorkel equipment, paddle boards, rafts, and kayaks. The activity desk had a daily snorkel excursion to Creole Rock that was more than worth the cost. A staff member joined us in the water and highlighted many tropical fish as well as sharing insight about the local reef environment. It was one of the best snorkel tours I have had. The staff was friendly. Our room was cleaned spotlessly every day. The on-site restaurant and bar were good. We were also able to walk a short distance to town which held a variety of cuisine options and local shopping. We rented a car and did not have any difficulty with parking. The car rental allowed us to easily access tourist spots throughout the island. We would highly recommend the Grand Case Beach Club.

The Grand Case area is very peculiar. One one end, you will find exquisite restaurants with the finest dishes . On the other end, the area hasn’t yet recovered from prior hurricanes and might be “too real” for some. We were avoiding tourist traps and the average tourist destinations and that’s why we picked Grand Case. It has a peculiar feel. I wanted to pick a wooden hotel by the main area but my wife insisted on Grand Case Beach Club. What a clever idea! First of all, the restaurant at the hotel is superb with better views and infrastructure than any other (cheaper too!!). The area is secluded , fenced and guarded. When you had enough of “the real feeling “ of Grand Case, you may come back to the bubble with our familiar standards. As a result of the fences and guards, the beaches at the hotel are not crowded. The area of the pool, bar, and restaurant is absolutely magical. Don’t miss your sunsets there. At the end, I thought that I should have enjoyed the hotel more time than the time I spent venturing around Grand Case (which I still consider charming on its own way) Service is excellent and newly renovated facilities. I would go back to the hotel and definitely spend more time there. Of course, I enjoy quite trips. If you are into heavy parties, pick a bohemian hotel near the Rainbow Cafe with a heavy Caribbean feel and loud music. I enjoyed the Rainbow Cafe’s area but afterwards, I was happy to come back to my bubble at the Grand Case Beach Club with all the standards that we are used too

Thank you very much for your to the point review and observations. The village of Grand Case is a very real little slice of the Caribbean… by no means a “themed” creation. For those who come and can relate to the special and at times peculiar environment, they can expect an experience like no other! Then again, some are perfectly comfortable to relax on the beaches, the pool and the restaurant on property…as many do, but there is so much more all around us! We are so glad that you took the time to taste and enjoy !

Amazing hotel from beginning to end. The staff is friendly and helpful ( thanks so much to Ruth in the front desk for her help last day). We stayed at room 202 (studio with ocean view) and was fantastic, super clean, comfy and equipped with all the amenities that you will need for you a fantastic stay. Shower and A/C works awesome.(TV signal not so great) The gate at the entry make me feel super secure as well the security on the road to the hotel at night ( well done guys). The beach is breathtaking. Sunset café restaurant was to die for. We just came back and we are planning our next stay, hopefully in the same room. Thanks to all the wonderful staff behind this hotel, without you wouldn’t be the same. To all of you reading this review do yourself a favor,: Book this hotel, don’t look anywhere else.

The hotel is clean and well appointed, but the real gem is the beach it sits on. Amazing snorkeling in knee-deep water. The adjoining restaurant serves delicious, mostly French, cooking at reasonable prices. We loved our stay.

This resort is located at the end of the town of Grand Case which is a bit further from the airport than Marigot. The scenery from the rooms and hotel is just amazing with turquoise colors in the water everywhere you look. The office staff was very friendly and helpful. Maid and other staff very polite. We loved the restaurant on site with its amazing location right over the water and fantastic views of the sunsets. The meals at the restaurant were excellent with different specials every night. Go for the Moule fest - mussels on Thursday which were just super. Many of the staff speak French which my wife loved as she got to practice speaking but everyone speaks English so no worries if you don't. Rooms are nice and have been recently renovated. All the standard rooms are on the first floor so go for a one bedroom as will be on the 2nd level with better views. Lofts are on the 3rd level. We would definitely go back to this resort. There are also several good restaurants within a 10 minute walk in the town of Grand Case. Given there are kitchens you can buy food at a store and do your own thing as well. We will note that the town is a bit run down and still not rebuilt from the 2017 hurricane and you will see that over much of the island.

We stayed for a week (family of 4, 2 teens) and had a WONDERFUL time. The suite was very clean, very comfortable. The beach was beautiful, and the staff was helpful with beach chairs, snorkeling equipment, etc. There are shaded areas available, a really lovely walkway along the water, and the landscaping is beautiful. There's also a restaurant located within the complex that was DELICIOUS; you can keep a tab running if you're staying at the hotel. There's a little snack shop/boutique. It's walking distance from the town of Grand Case, where there are many restaurants, small grocery stores, etc. We had a great time and would 100% recommend.
