This is the perfect base to explore Grand Case. It had a great vibe: the staff were very charming and extremely efficient as well. We had a cute room with a beautiful sea view. It was very convenient to walk next door to the restaurant or down to the beach club. The water in front of the hotel is perfect for swimming. The location is great as it is easy to walk to excellent restaurants, bars and shops in Grand Case. The included breakfasts were delicious. This is a simple, small hotel ideal for beach bumming and relaxing. The next time I return (and I definitely will) I would opt for one of the rooms on the top floor as they are slightly larger with more shade and space on the balconies.
This hotel was beautiful, and literally right on the beach. It's a very small boutique hotel. We only stayed for one night, but the room would have been way to small to stay any longer than 1-2 nights. We stayed in the most basic room but if you're staying for an extended period of time, definitely upgrade to a larger room. The issue was the service, and the noise. The service was just okay, we didnt find the staff at the restaurant overly friendly or accommodating. Additionally, it was VERY loud. There was very loud music at the club/restaurant either beneath the hotel or next door. We are a couple in our late 20s and are okay with some noise, but this was pretty bad. I would say it ended around 9:30/10pm but if you're a light sleeper or like to go to bed early, do not stay here. Again, it was fine for one night but we could not have stayed longer.…
The hotel was gorgeous and all staff were very kind. The bar was great and the food sensational. I saw the staff eating their meal and it looked like the most heavenly pesto pasta I’ve ever seen and they were kind enough to make me bowl the next day, and the day after. It was incredible. The rooms were very picturesque, and some are much larger than others. The first few days we had a room on the ground floor, near the restaurant, it was small but sweet. Then we moved over to the larger ones near the check in desk and those were amazing. Much bigger with room to move around and such. Go with those. The beach was perfect and the servers were generous with us wanting extra shade and moving umbrellas for us. We walked the beach each morning and on the last day, walking down towards the rocks (away from the pier) we saw 3 sea turtles swimming right by the beach. We found this boutique hotel to be a much better beach and visit than when we stayed on the Dutch side at the Westin a couple years ago. The French side has more smoking unfortunately, but has better food and beaches.…
Flawless, charming, perfectly located in the heart of Grand Case. Steps from the beautiful ocean, room small but well appointed. Impecable service, great bar. Even the restaurant is good. We spent 3 incredible days there. Great ac and blackouts to sleep comfortably. For sure we will be back
I’m a little late in posting this but I wanted to tell everyone how amazing our lunch was! I ate rigatoni with zucchini pesto and ricotta, and added chicken! So delicious! My husband ate homemade raviolis stuffed with sweetbreads, mushroom sauce and foie gras and that was the show stopper! Everyone at the table voted that this was the top dish! Two of my friends ate the risotto and they described it as the best on the island, and the portion was nice. For an appetizer we had cod carpaccio and it was so light and fresh! Chef Flavio came to our table to greet us, which added to the great experience! Afterwards, we lounged on the beach chairs that were provided adding to the magical day. We will definitely be back the next time we are on the island!
Myself, my husband and a group of 6 other friends spent 6 amazing days at LTC!! We are a group of usually resort staying travelers, and we decided to take a risk and stay at a local boutique hotel right on the beach. This was the BEST decision we could have made!! From the breathtaking views from every angle of the hotel, to the cutest decor and vibe, to the most amazing food and drinks, to the BEST SERVICE we have ever had on a vacation!! We arrived @2pm local time, and all 4 of our rooms were available to check in (that almost NEVER happens, esp at resorts) The staff was all smiles and so friendly, they truly felt like family!! As hotel guest we had first dibs at beach chairs, and Thom and Enzo made sure to put us in the best spots daily. They would fix our towels for us, and always made sure we were never thirsty or hungry!! The cleaning staff was amazing, the front desk staff was amazing, and the restaurant servers were BEYOND AMAZING as well!! Special shoutout to Bruno for making our first night beyond memorable and being so accommodating. Also not to mention you are definitely on one of the top 3 beaches in the entire island of Saint Martin!! The only 'complaint' which is not even a complaint but more of a recommendation that the hotel could do would be to get better pillows for their beds. They are very small on a king size bed. Other than that everything was exceptionally perfect! WE CANNOT WAIT TO RETURN!!!…
I wouldn’t stay in this hotel again. Pros: - Our room was lovely. Very spacious, with a fabulous view over the beach and ocean to Anguilla. The rustic finish wasn’t what we would normally look for in a hotel, but it was really tasteful. - The village of Grand Case is charming and has great food. - The beach, while a narrow strip of sand, has really pretty sunsets. Cons: - The main downside for us in the hotel, and one that stopped us enjoying the stay as much as we would have done otherwise, is the noise. The Sunday we arrived, there was a DJ playing unbelievably loud music. It was like being in a nightclub. The hotel itself is only 8 rooms and despite our room being furthest away from the bar, the room almost shook with noise even with the balcony door closed. Even swimming 20 metres out, we couldn’t properly hear each other talking. I’m 34 and don’t dislike noisy bars and clubs on a Friday night, but this was extremely intrusive for what is described as a small boutique hotel. My parents would have checked back out right away! The music continued to be loud even on the Monday which was apparently a national holiday (we found this out when we complained). We asked for the music to be turned down to normal levels multiple times, and our requests were either ignored or the music was subsequently turned back up. Visitors may have different expectations, but we hadn’t planned on staying in what is essentially a beach club with rooms above. That wasn’t how the hotel described itself when we booked. If that’s your thing, then this place is perfect. If like us, background music is fine, but you’re not expecting a “night out” with visiting punters dancing to Rihanna at top volume all afternoon and evening outside your balcony after a long flight, then I would give this place a miss. It was clear that the staff’s priority was the beach club guests. - Communication issues - our coffee machine didn’t work in the room and then mysteriously disappeared half way through our trip. …
We arrived for dinner as they were the only restaurant in Grand Case open in early October. We were greeted by Bruno, who immediately seated us at a beautiful table on the water in the bar area. The view was stunning. My girlfriend enjoyed the Queen Victoria cocktail and I believe I ordered their twist on an old fashioned. We then enjoyed the burrata to start and the picanha with the mushroom sauce for the main course. Everything was delicious. I would definitely return and consider staying in one of their hotel rooms next time.
AWESOME location...AWESOME beach...AWESOME accommodations...AWESOME food. I will be back for my birthday shenanigans in March!!! The room was beautiful and the view from the room is unmatched! Service was awesome and the beach chairs/towels for the guests were great.
Stayed here for a 4 day weekend and it did not disappoint. The room was perfect and the view canNOT be beat. Food was amazing on property but there are plenty of off property options if you want something more Caribbean. The beach was pristine and the staff was great! They took Sunday Funday to a whole new level...if you are there on a Sunday be sure to reserve your beach chairs when you arrive. They can also call a nurse to come and do the COVID test on property for $50...they do not come on Sundays or Saturday afternoons, but you get the results in 10 minutes. Will be back in March for my birthday!!!
