This hotel is absolutely amazing and the attention to detail in terms of colour scheme and decor is unbelievable. I am presently here on staycation and it is by far the quietest hotel I have ever stayed at. My sister and I stopped by last week to enquire about resident rates and a young girl Janiah, was working on Reception. Clearly in training and eager to learn, she checked us in today and the service we received was exceptional so thank you to her. The pool area is beautiful and the surrounding area is well maintained. The food at the restaurant is so good, it is by far the prettiest place in Cayman. I absolutely love pink, so for me, this is my dream hotel. Many more Staycations ahead...

This hotel is a real hidden gem. I was a bit apprehensive about booking solely due to the number of reviews and some questions about beach access but took a chance and wish I had stayed for longer! I’m a Hilton diamond member and this is a great choice for those loyal to the brand (and those who just want a fantastic hotel).

This hotel is centrally located and newly renovated. I travelled with a friend and our two queen bed room was spacious and well appointed. The bathroom was a bit small but completely functional. I saw a previous review mention noisy AC units, and they were a bit loud but completely functional and kept the room cool and dry. We stayed at both the Westin and Kimpton on this trip as well and had a few issues with damp hotel rooms.

I really loved the color scheme and decor throughout the entire hotel. The provided breakfast was tasty with a selection of eggs, cereal, waffles, yogurt, pastries, etc.

The beach was fantastic! Although the hotel isn’t beachfront there is direct access down a little sandy path next to the pool. It was actually closer to the beach from our room than the Kimpton we stayed also at farther north. The beach area is directly next to the Marriott in front of the South Bay Beach Club. There are provided chairs and umbrellas (it’s not a large area about 12 chairs but never felt crowded).

The beach is this area is a bit narrower but I actually preferred this because the water was shallower and calmer. Great for floating and the snorkeling is amazing right in front. There’s no beach service but you can grab a beverage at the pool bar before coming down.

The pool was also really adorable with plenty of seating areas, water provided, and ample shade. The pool is right next to Ms. Piper’s which is a fabulous restaurant on site at the Hampton. Every day you can request a free appetizer if you’re a guest. The sweet potato hummus was amazing and there were many creative cocktails.

All the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Water was provided at check in and infused water dispensers were throughout the property. The gym although not large has brand new equipment and is well designed. I loved this hotel and will be back. Don’t expect full service, but it’s a spectacular home base for exploring Grand Cayman.

My sister and I loved our stay! The staff is adorable, the hotel is charming, breakfast is fresh and delicious (the signature waffle maker!) and our suite was lovely and comfortable.
We really appreciated that the room doors do not slam shut, so often a problem in hotels. Our only criticism: the room's air conditioning unit could be just a bit quieter.
The pool area is so relaxing, everything is beautifully maintained, and the hens and chickens wandering around are so cute.
Ms Piper's Kitchen was a favorite restaurant on the island, what luck it is just downstairs and off the pool area. We highly recommend staying here.

Let’s start with the good. The customer service in the front is extremely helpful and efficient, you can call them for anything and they’ll fix the issue within minutes, they also remember your name which is nice. The hotel and rooms are extremely clean. The dining staff are also very nice and helpful especially Martin. Okay, now the rest. We had an issue with the water in our sinks and in the shower being lukewarm. I had to call 3 different times to get it fixed, on the 3rd time I was quite frustrated so they gave us a dining voucher. While the water was fixed it still takes about 5-8 minutes to get hot which is weird. I also do not like that for such a big property there are only 5 beach chairs for the guests, I feel that guest should be informed of this prior to booking. The chairs are also VERY dirty. The Marriott next door has 3 times as much chairs. The beach is literally down to a sliver, there is no sand for you to set a blanket on or anything, the chairs are on a slant as well. In addition the breakfast is not as good as I expected after reading such great reviews. We’ve had breakfast at hotels in Jamaica, Puerto Rico & Mexico and this just cannot compare. There’s no salt or seasoning and the eggs taste frozen as well as the bacon. You can tell when someone warms up a frozen batch as opposed to making it fresh. They also didn’t switch up menu items each day like some hotels do. In addition, the AC in the room can’t really be controlled. You can turn it off and it will still come on in the middle of the night and it BLAST cold air, very alarming with my infant in the room and was told we have to do a power shutoff at the base of the unit to stop it and wouldn’t get any air at all if we did so. If you have an infant this is not the hotel for you. They do not have any freezers in the room and they do not allow you to use the hotels main freezer which is rare because most hotels do. If you have frozen breast milk or a frozen ice pack that you’ll need to carry on the plane to keep your baby’s milk cold, forget about it. You’re on your own and there is no exceptions due to “Hilton policy”. & I am a Hilton Gold member. All mommas know pumped milk has time limits and cannot just be left without a cooler. That is all. I give it a 2/5 but next time I would stay at Marriott just for the beach chairs alone, to start..

This hotel was a real find and a massive upgrade from what was there before. The little touches, the upgraded bar and restaurant by the pool, the staff and not to mention the breakfast. The breakfast was stellar and catered for most, with quaity ingrediants and an insde or outside option. The whole place feels refreshed and we felt the value for money was excellent. Thank you to Lee and the team for a greta start to our holiday!

Phenomenal location, hotel and staff. Welcomed by Shanti who takes care of all the guests and everyone is a true professional, some of the names include Jaime and Wendy in housekeeping. The hotel pool is always comfortable, live music a couple of nights a week, restaurant on site is amazing, Piper's. walkable to Camana Bay for on the water dining restaurants, near two grocery stores (Foster's and Kirk's) $3 USD to grab a bus which are more mini-vans if you want to go to George Town. Nice little walk - about 20 feet to the beach. Great hotel, and one of the better priced for the location.

I have to say I was a little disappointed the beach has suffered so much erosion, but that's not the hotels fault. They made up for it in many ways. Firstly they have a shuttle service that will take you to other beaches, Camana Bay or the shopping center, etc. too. The staff were exceptional, anything I needed they would help with. Even the housekeeping staff would always greet you with a friendly hello and a smile. And a nice perk was the breakfast included, not just a continental breakfast, but a hot breakfast, waffles, eggs, potatoes, sausage, bacon, juice, coffee, etc! You can eat indoors or outdoor tables. I just booked a hotel in Curacao where they wanted $21 US a day for breakfast! The property has a nice pool with lounge chairs, umbrellas and a separate area with chairs on a lawn to read a book or two. A gym is also on the property. I mostly chose to walk everywhere and everything is within reasonable walking distance. Overall I highly recommend this place!

I have stayed at many Hamptons before and this was the first time we experienced difficulties Our Room was guaranteed to be ready by 3pm we did not get around until after 6pm. After traveling all morning this was frustrating. The hotel did nothing to accommodate us or to make things right. The rooms are very basic plain rooms with a bed an one small chair a tv and a small fridge. The bathroom is pretty dark especially by the shower. The room's walls are paper thin therefore you will hear the noise in the rooms near or next to you. We had a room towards the back of the hotel and we were awoken every morning by the delivery trucks bright and early in the morning. Some of the front desk staff were rude especially when it came to ordering the shuttle some would tell you one thing the others something else. For paying a resort fee for the shuttle they sure were limited to allowing guest to use it. The shuttle also only makes two stops which was silly when it goes up the main road and the actual hotel is not on the main beaches. We also found that the front desk was always so busy and like low staff that we often had to wait forever just to ask a question and if you call from the bedroom most of the time they did not even answer the phones. Grand Cayman is beautiful and has so much to offer that this hotel can do better to accommodate guest and treat them with respect. The best part of this hotel is the Ms. Piper's restaurant by the pool and the pool bar. The bartenders Jennifer, Aubrey and Angie were all amazing, but a special shout out to Jennifer for being so passionate about her work and making amazing cocktails. They made us forget all the inconveniences we encountered at the front desk and dealing with check ins.
The hotel also needs better way to communicate to the guest as there are various shuttles that come to pick up guest and we were not aware until we looked into it ourselves. For example there is a free shuttle from the turtle farm that picks up guest twice a day, as well as other excursions that we were not aware of nor did the front desk provide accurate information about it.

This hotel was so light and bright, cute and beachy. I stayed at this property when it was a different hotel brand years back and wow, what an improvement. It’s a beautiful hotel with a lot of character with the decor! The staff was friendly. A nice free breakfast with lots of fresh options. The workout room is nice with most things that you would need. A nice pool area and a short walk to the beach… unfortunately through out recent years of hurricanes and storms , there is a lot of erosion where the beach area is much smaller than it used to be and only a few chairs to use. But still usable. The hotel does offer a free shuttle to two different public beach areas just 5min down the road which was great. The location is great because it’s in a walkable distance to a bunch of different restaurants as well as being only a 15min walk or take the free shuttle to Camana Bay which is one of my favorite areas on the island with lots of shops and great restaurants. Overall I really enjoyed my stay at the Hampton Inn. I will stay there again.
