Have they done anything to clean up the seaweed at the beach? Always seemed uninviting.
The seaweed was still there, but for the most part the hotel keeps the beaches looking immaculate. The pool is where we spent most of our time. They also have a "beach" like set up right in front of the pool for that beach feeling. I wouldn't let a little seaweed deter you from enjoying this AMAZING hotel.

I am going to be staying at your resort in December. I am a Vegetarian and did not see a lot of options on your website in the 'The Great House' or 'Fisherman's Village' for Vegetarians. Will the Chef be able to make me some good vegetarian entree options which are not on the menu? Thank you.
Absolutely. They were some of the most accommodating chefs I’ve ever met. The sous chef Rahul is I believe of Indian decent. Therefore, you’ll be in good hands.

Are there church services available on site Sundays? Xmas Eve or Xmas Day?
Thank you for your response. Anything on southern Peninsula? Hoping not to have to drive to Basseterre...

What is the approximate cost of a taxi to Basseterre and is it fairly easy to get to restaurants off property? Are we better off renting a vehicle?
Rent a car. I suggest Bullseye Rentals: Super honest, good prices, easy pickup. As nice as the resort is, it's nicer to get away and see the REAL island.

Is the snorkeling any good at the beach of the resort?
Dear Jason, the snorkeling is good if the waves / wind are behaving ( which they normally do). There are however some very cool snorkeling spots very close by that are super nice. Warm regards, Flor

"Best views are the rooms facing the island of Nevis, such as the Nevis Peak Suite"
"Suites are definitely worth the upgrade as they are much larger and have much better layouts."
"we stayed on the bottom floor where you could walk right off your patio to the pool and beach."
"Ground floor rooms are great for quick access to pool"
"Higher floors-better views. Nevis Suite seems to be popular if you like plunge pools."
