The rooms and common areas are extremely nice - very clean and of modern style. The employees are friendly and will do anything they can to help you. It is clear that everyone there wants the guests to be comfortable and that they take pride in the hotel. While the pool deck is in the shade after 1:00 pm and the beach isn’t swimmable, it is a very pleasant setting to listen to the ocean, read, drink, etc. You could always visit another beach for the day. With it being so new there weren’t many guests and there was some training still taking place, but I am confident that they will work out any service issues they’re having within the next few months because the employees have such an amazing attitude. One notable item is that the food is great and served in a stylish way! Dinners at Koi were among our favorite of everything we tried on the island. If you don’t stay here, you should at least come for a dinner. The employees in the restaurant are great as well. Ishmalie made our experience so fun. I would stay here again and recommend to anyone visiting.

A brand new hotel that is still working itself out. The staff at the front desk was super nice and accommodating. The wait staff however have a lot to learn. Sitting out on the lounge chairs we were the only people there yet I had to come inside and ask for drinks service 3 times. It is a pretty remote hotel. Definitely need a car to get around. Beautiful ocean breezes and you can hear the waves crashing , it sounds amazing however you can’t swim. Too rough and too much seaweed coming in.

We loved this resort and its quiet location. It's not ideal for children (great for couples )and the beach isn't suitable for swimming. However, the rooms are nice, the views are breathtaking, and it's a great place to unwind.

I was the very first guest to check into the hotel. The hotel is nice but it is in no way a “resort” as the name suggested. I unfortunately had to check out after one night because they just did not have the amenities the name would suggest as a resort. Only one snack bar was open and being far from everything else meant I would need to leave for almost every meal and for enjoyment. Having traveled with an infant, this was less than ideal. (Oh and let’s not forget they charged my credit card twice and at full nightly pop, for a hotel less than half opened) The rooms were nice but it was eerily quiet (being guest #1) and there seemed to have been a leak in my room. Perhaps my visit was premature but I don’t think the doors should have been opened until they were truly ready. I wish the best for the hotel, however I do think the name should not be Koi Resorts as it features nothing a typical resort would. Shout out to Cozel for his friendly service. *I would have given 4 stars if they resort didn’t allow guests to check in prematurely. They really should have had a soft opening with family, friends and media before opening to the public so early. I assume they might have just wanted to recoup some of the investments

Given that the hotel just recently opened, I set my expectations accordingly and had an overall great experience minus some issues. The rooms are nice and the suites and ocean front options have excellent views. We had a 1 bedroom suite and can’t emphasize how great the overall room was. My main issue is that they’re still working through operations. On one of the nights, the restaurant closed early due to it not being busy. The other night, the restaurant ran out of gas. Finally, they still can’t seem to figure out how to provide towels upon request. Overall the food was good, however the breakfast is a little pricey for what you get. Things to note: - going anywhere out of the hotel will cost about $15-$30 usd in a taxi. - exterior hallways - no beach access - nothing else nearby, however the town is a short drive away.
