We have stayed 4 years in a row in Nevis and it never disappoints. Cliff dwellers is a great location and easy access to restaurants and local beaches from Lovers beach , Oualie, Chrishi, to Pinneys ! We (3 couples ) stayed at The sanctuary and every morning you could sit inside or outside by the pool looking out with a view to St Kitts it was so relaxing! We loved how easy it was to walk over to the bar on site or just hop in the car to go to the gin trap for a sundowner or yachtsmans grill for a great dinner on the beach . We BBQ’d at home too on those days or nights you just want to chill ! Suzanne and all the staff are super friendly and helpful and go beyond their duties during your stay at Cliff dwellers .. they even opened the bar one night just to accommodate all of us who wear there for our friends wedding !

A 13 night stay at one of the homes here, was superb. Luxurious yet comfortable home w/Private and community pool, oceanfront, sunsets, close to Galley Pot, and a super Bio Organic farm for kitchen snacks. I cannot believe we have not returned since.. Close to some other great beaches. Nevis is the epitome of comforting tropical with no high rises or chain anything. Great, great people here. Ferry over from St. Kitts and so many great restaurants including at Golden Rock. Drive up the mountain for sure... so interesting to see the local community and hard to find resturaunts 'up there'

Cliff dwellers was amazing; real point of my review tho is to clarify a few things about nevus. 1) hiking : Mount nevis is an absolutely exhilirating hike; it is muddy; you will use ropes on the way down and tree roots as you climb up; If you are athletic, wiry , and willing to be careful, this is totally doable without a guide; my family of five had a great time; no you won't lose the trail; it is true toward the very bottom you could lose the trail if you're no careful when your under a close canopy and the lighting is dim. 2) snorkeling: many coves toward the st kits end are a little choppy and the water cloudy; suboptimal...go to the cove just south of oualie beach and cliffdwellers (just north of an industrial pier)... by shear rock face that meets water there is a regrowing reef system...much fire coral, some brain, many sponges...thousands of fish... saw lion fish (be careful), trumpet fish, sgt majors, pipe fish , lobster and squid in the nearby turtle grass, turtles.... beautiful secluded calm spot 3) shells.... you can't take conch shells out of the country...guess we missed that memo... cleaned our luggage out of them at the airport ! 4) pinneys beach : long sandy beach...beach bars good but a crowded area with visiting boats etc...great for new years eve; yes, sunshine's "killer bee" is amazing 5) eat...many restaurants...but many oddly empty... night life is spotty... particularly like 'the yachtsman' - elegant but casual... when they had a DJ... kids could play backetball on beach as we waited for drinks and food to arrive 6) town... we were intrigued..a little shabby as any caribbean town might be but decidedly authentic... virtually no tourist trinkets there !...very friendly people if you stop to talk with them, otherwise this is there town and they're busy ! 7) bike riding... rent bikes at oualie beach..very friendly service... took mtn bike trails around and the onto paved road to get to top of 'round hill' (the only other bump on the island beside the volcano)... great trip !.. much sweat.... will have to walk the last 200 yds to the top...it's THAT steep !!

Seascapes at Cliffdwellers exceeded our expectations in so many ways. We've stayed in top hotels and rented many great houses, but none have come even close to Seascapes -- the quality of construction, maintenance, furnishings and appointments were superb. For two families traveling with teenagers, the layout of this fabulous home is perfect, with several distinct areas, all with fine appointments and spectacular views. The pool was a favorite spot to look down the pristine shoreline and the upper deck provided a serene spot to view sunrises over Mount Nevis to our East, sunsets by Saint Kitts to our West and shooting stars at night. Suzanne Gordon and her team took great care of us from before we arrived through our departure from Oualie Beach. They stocked our refrigerator and connected us with wonderful activities and restaurants -- attentive concierge service from people who really wanted our visit to be memorable. As a neat bonus, the little gift shop on the property was the best on the island. Seascapes at Cliffdwellers has set a new bar that will be very tough for other properties to beat. We look forward to returning!
