I am a budget traveller( at this point you might be wondering what I was doing in a place like Nevis) , and I made every effort to sniff out some good deals on hotels before going to Nevis. This is the only budget option I could find on the island. There might be others, but they are prohibitively difficult...

If there's a need to be in vicinity of the ferry dock for a one-night stay in Charlestown, just take a right turn arriving from the pier and stroll a couple blocks to this guesthouse. A surprise and a rare find: an actual nice place. Care and effort is apparent here, with friendly and responsive management. Good AC, bath (only...

For visitors to Charlestown in Nevis, JP's Guesthouse is convieniently located close to the ferry dock and the central Charlestown businesses. It is clean and reasonably priced. There is a good swimming beach within 200 meters, the library (with computer rental) also about 200 meters away. JP's has WiFi for those who travel with laptops. Great place to stay.

“My room #5 had a remote control A.C. No noise at all because it was only the evaporator and the compressor was somewhere else. Pumbing was all O.K.. I took a hot shower on arrival at one AM. Room had Color TV and a refrigerator. Microwave was in a common area just outside the room. I stayed three nights. .”
