From the moment we arrived when Anne ran out to greet us we felt welcome. The room (Hayloft) was really clean and cosy with fresh cut flowers out of Anne's garden. There are lots of areas to sit outside to enjoy the amazing view - and it is amazing. From the Hayloft you can see the sea one way and...

Centrally located for the short drives either to the mountains on the one side or beaches on the other. Just far enough off the beaten track to ensure a leisurely, peaceful break whilst only a short drive to either Portmeirion, Porthmadog or Cricceith. Ann at Tyddyn Iolyn offers a wonderfully warm and friendly welcome and made us feel instantly at...

It was my first trip to North Wales and I had no idea that the scenery was so special. I had chosen Tyddyn Iolyn as it claimed to have wonderful views - well it certainly does. It is up a long track so is amazingly quiet and peaceful, with stunning scenery all around. We were welcomed by Ann, on a...

If what you're looking for from a B&B is a beautiful slice of real Wales, then you MUST stay here. It's even better than advertised. You drive up a long farm road, and reach a farm gate. Upon opening it, and entering, you'll immediately notice the stunning accomodations, built from Welsh rocks and Welsh sweat, around 300 or more years...

We stayed in the bake house which was beautifully done out and very charming. This small and characterful building had a private garden area at the rear which used to be the piggery and we enjoyed a glass of wine here overlooking the gorgeous countryside of hills, lambs and the sea. Our breakfast was delicious and kept us full well...

After being recommended this farmhouse by a friend, we arrived in the afternoon to a warm welcome from Anne the owner, who greeted us by name. She then showed us to our room (the stable loft) and offered to make us a hot drink. She was really welcoming and enthusiastic about the surrounding area and places to visit. Although the...

Stayed in Tyddyn Iolyn for three nights after NYE with my hubbie. It was much more than we expected. The farmhouse has been beautifully redecorated into different rooms, all look newly refubirshed but keeping with their gorgeous surroundings, which were very relaxing to look at. The heating came on every night, we were never cold, and we looked forward to...
