Fantastic service and a great atmosphere with very polite and friendly staff. I couldn't find any fault with this 3 star hotel and the power shower is the best I have ever used. I would highly recommend a stay here. A very good breakfast and a good price.

Haven't been to the BESSEMER for a few years, but it's still as good as I remember!! Choice of 3 meats, lots of fresh cooked veg!! Good service and organisation!! Really enjoyed it!! Few different options for starters, and a dessert menu! Went for the 4.30pm sitting, very busy and loud in conservatory.

I pressed the bell at the deserted reception desk when I arrived but despite the sound of chattering voices heard behind nobody appeared for about 10 minutes. The swipe card that I was given for my room would not activate so I had to return again to the 'ghost' reception area. Again I pressed the bell and waited... and waited....

Stayed here for before a walk of the Brecon Beacons. On arrival we waited a good 10 mins at reception before being greeted, not a great start. Hotel in general was dated and seemed a little unclean. Room was also very dated and the bathroom had a weird smell that I can only describe as a vomit like smell. Beds...

Visited here a few times and the roast has always been good (aside from waiting to be told when your table should go up to queue for food). When visiting one evening and ordering chips etc however I didn't find the food vey nice and quite expensive too.

Pleasant hotel tucked away in a housing estate. One half of the rooms must look towards the town, whereas the other half overlook back gardens of the houses behind. The room was a reasonable size and very clean. The bathroom was also large. Our bed was very comfortable with a nice warm duvet and soft pillows. Breakfast was continental and...

Stayed here in Jan 2016 with 2 friends as walking Pen-y-fan. Stayed for 2 nights and must say the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Arranged for early breakfast for us so we could get out early and the room was clean and tidy with normal facilities as expected. Would definitely stay again if in the area. Thanks for...

Stayed here last night and had a lovely visit. On holiday from Australia and all staff very friendly/hard working people telling us tourist spots. Room bit outdated but bed very comfortable and two pillows medium. Family run business. Had 'mad Friday ' and heard music but stopped at midnight. Had Carvery for dinner and very tasty and plenty of it....
