Traveled to Port of Spain Trinidad for work and stayed here. The staff were outstanding in their eagerness to ensure that everything was ready for the seminars. The rooms are well maintained and clean. And the housekeeping staff are always ready to assist with any problems. My thanks for a great stay!

I often work in the area and find this hotel to be close enough to walk to where I am consulting. All that to say that I frequent the Kapok. It has a vibrant local and international clientele that has the opportunity to choose from two restaurants. I enjoyed the KAVA a lot but that is a different review. AC...

To start off, the check in was swift and the ability to get credit for my stay was hassle free since I had stayed here before and they kept my AA# linked to my check in. The breakfast daily is always a treat. Some standard items (toast, bagel, cream cheese, cheese platter, cold cuts platter, cereal, juices, coffee, tea, etc.)...

Stayed here for a night in one of the superior rooms for my girlfriend birthday. The room was well kept and lovely. The staff were helpful and willing to assist you. Only thing is that they should have more variety for breakfast. Other than that the central location is perfect and will not hesitate to stay again.

This is an excellent hotel in town. The atmosphere is unusual, kind of a tropical polynesian look - very nice. The staff is very nice and pleasant. The rooms are modern and clean, and appear to have been upgraded a few years ago with the exception of retaining the old bath/shower and the toilet. The bath could be replaced with...

We stayed here for just one night. The room was a nice closed plan layout for a change with the separate living area with the kitchenette, separate bedroom. This layout is brilliant for longer stays. We had a porch which was great for morning coffee and savannah views. The pool area could do with some revamping, more shady areas perhaps....

We stayed at Kapok arriving from Tobago, awaiting for our next day's flight back home. The hotel is clean, with friendly staff. Good wifi in the rooms, ok breakfast, small but nice pool. Not far from the center of town. Ok for a few nights stay...

I stayed in a suite for the night. The suite was very spacious, had a medium sized balcony, small kitchen area, large living room. The bed was extremely comfortable and they offered complimentary breakfast. It was a little pricey, between $900- $1200 for the night but worth it!
