We recently had a one night stay at the Hilton Trinidad and I must say I was quite surprised by the level of service and the quality of the room. The room was well equipped and very comfortable. The staff were helpful and very pleasant. We opted to have breakfast which was very nice. I am glad we went down when we did as the line when we were leaving was very long and I don't think I would have been impressed if I had come down at that time and met that line. SO note to self - go early for breakfast.

This was my 3rd time here...Smooth check in as always, cleanliness of entire hotel and rooms, wide variety in breakfast buffet. Large room, hot water showers, hot tub and large pool, overall a great experience for the family. Will definitely return again!

The reception and the service we received throughout our stay was exceptional. Our only disappointment was the food at the restaurant it was way below our expectations and lacked taste. Given that we are from Trinidad there was the expectation that the food would’ve been flavored however this was not the case. Nonetheless, the buffet breakfast was worth every dollar. Thank you.

The staff from entry to exit showed great professionalism. We always look forward to Mr. Anil who has been working there for many years. The welcome drink from the reception clerks set the mood for a relaxing but business oriented weekend. The food was excellent. The rooms extremely clean. The balcony view is always amazing. Housekeeping staff are pleasant and efficient. Overall you get value for money.

Excellent stay, wonderful pool, cozy rooms. Trinidad’s Hilton it’s an excellent choice. From building itself self to the warm staff. You can enjoy your breakfast or your launch in to the restaurant or snacks at the bars. Of course for dinner you have to visit Sushi Bar, actually you HAVE to visit sushi bar, it’s an unforgettable experience. Enjoy your swimming at pool and drink your beers at pool bar.

I would preface my review by saying that without exception, the staff here are very friendly. However, the hotel is now 63 years old and showing it's age, and some of the customer service wasn't brilliant. We arrived with the temperature 33 deg C to find that the air conditioning throughout the hotel wasn't working (this was fixed later that night). The pool jacuzzi broke down while we there and wasn't fixed. The whole hotel had no shower lotions for the bathrooms. We had to nag on three occasions to have our bedroom serviced (having waited until 5pm). This is the first time we have stayed in a Hilton where the down pillows have been awful, massive overstuffed things which gave my wife a stiff neck. They didn't appear to have any alternatives. On one morning we ordered a grab and go breakfast for 5.30 as we were going to Tobago, and it was forgotten (they did come up with a replacement within 15 mins). If you have access to the Executive Lounge, this one is only average with a limited range of evening snacks, though breakfast was not bad. Usually, we get a free breakfast downstairs if we want it, as Platinum members, but for the first time (in the world) we were asked to pay 10$ for this. Very limited facilities for kids: a Connect 4 game, table tennis and open air chess; no children's playground or anything, but there is a lovely tennis court. Despite the hotel being described as set in acres of landscaped gardens there is very little you can walk in, mind you, the botanical gardens and zoo are virtually next door. Outside, particularly at the back, there is evidence of rust and black mould on the walls. The location is quiet, away from the centre of Port of Spain, and getting a taxi to go places was easy.

Customer service is zero. You don't get a warm welcome and Giz3lle the lady that attended to me has such an attitude. Has zero empathy. I arrived at cgcek in since 3am and was meant to let me know ny 6am if there is a room. Because I did not go yo her she also was been peery and did not call me up knowing I had a 1 year old baby with me and have not slept all night. The manager who was there at handover did absolutely nothing and was watching me complain. No apology nothing . I won't recommend. The staff too complacent

Amazing birthday experience. Check in was quick. We were greeted with an amazing rum punch. Our room was on the 6th floor overlooking the QPS . There isn't much of a view but the balcony is quiet to sit and relax. The pool was clean ,the music could be better seems like they have one Playlist on repeat. Breakfast was ok. Not what I expected from "hilton" there were a few options, usual egg station , cereal station an then a few Pastries /bread/bake and tea / coffee & orange juice. That's all. It was quite disappointing . Overall the hotel is well kept. Staff was friendly. Everyone got a happy birthday cheesecake for their birthday which I truly enjoyed the gesture.
