Tthe Blue Mango Cottages are a treasure in Castara. We had the most beautiful time. We loved our room, the two private decks, the spacious, airy feel and the two very comfy beds. The view is to die for, it feels like you are in a treehouse! Snorkeling right below you, some of the best I've seen. Rays, turtles, a...

I booked a stay with blue mango after seeing it on a previous trip. We were looking for a quiet place to stay and relax. Blue mango was ideal. The rooms were comfortable with a little kitchen in it. The rooms are also very artistic with a seaside terrace that is ideal to enjoy the Caribbean sunset. The beach and...

Sea Steps is wonderful, out of bed in the morning and straight into the sea in your own little bay. Food was very good and we experienced local breakfast and enjoyed them all. Kerry and Rebecca couldn't have been more helpful and our course the wonderful Colin. If you want rustic, basic, clean accommodation this it. We will return. Diana...

Humble wooden cottages built among the trees on top of hill overlooking castara bay. Fantastic views / sunsets with easy access to beautiful beach that also has excellent snorkeling. Swam with hawksbill turtles, rays, cuttlefish in crystal waters. Saw more birds than at Asa Wright just sitting in the room veranda !! Castara waterfall nearby is wonderful forest walk in...

We stayed here for 2 weeks in March (our 3rd visit0 and absolutely loved it! Very rustic, basic but totally comfortable, clean, great service, and what a view -- you are hanging over the water with your own private beach!! Rebecca is very helpful and has become a friend over the years. She is taking credit cards now and I...

This was my first time in Castara and Blue Mango was definitely the right choice for accommodation. I stayed in an oceanview room which is to soon be renovated although I felt it was perfect just as is. The location was ideally located close to all shops and Rebecca was very accommodating at the restaurant to cater to all of...

Excellent location but terrible service. Rebecca forgot our booking which was done since November. Hence, we were accommodated in a dungeon on the first day. When confronted about the situation she moved us to cliff steps apartment, with a beautiful sea view. Unfortunately, being unaware of time, we returned 10 minutes late for check out, only to discover that the...

The hubby and I stayed at Blue Mango Cottages from Dec 27 – Dec 31. This is a fishing village, so please do not expect 5 star accommodations anywhere in the vicinity. After finding out the rental car agencies in Tobago do no take the Discover credit card, we called Rebecca, the owner, who had her son pick us up...

We stayed in the lower Sweet Point cottage for four nights and it was fantastic! The cottage is quite basic in the furnishings, but it has an extremely comfy bed and a well-equipped kitchen. It has the most amazing view over the Little Bay and we enjoyed all the wildlife visitors on our balcony (and occasionally inside as well judging...

“Sea Steps was extremely close to the waves and can be hard to endure when trying to sleep.”

“Sea Step Cottage is probably still the best; certainly the largest, but they try to reserve it for larger groups. Almond Tree apartment was wonderful. NOTE: The "apartment" is really just one studio room, but cleverly divided so that there is a semi-separate cooking area, a bathroom, of course, the mosquito netted bed. Third choice would probably be the apartment adjacent to it (the name of which I do not know), which is, I gather, slightly larger, but not quite such spectacular views.”
