The room was 2 star at best and we paid for an upgrade, thank goodness we did because I wonder how poor the other rooms must have been if this was upgraded. It was clean enough, the smell bleach on the bedding and in the room after cleaning was overpowering. The food was absolutely dreadful, they ran, things were overcooked or undercook, oversalted, pretty awful. One or two of the staff were exceptionally helpful, others were more outspoken than they should have been making pass remarkable comments and talking to customers as if they were in school dining room. The other complaint we had was the harrassment we received every day from vendors on the beach and also harrassment from a guy named Gary who played the steel drums, he was nothing short of a con man, regularly coming to us on the beach and harrassing us and asking to borrow money, The security staff were disinterested. Not impressed, I would never return or recommend this resort. Tobago is a beautiful island, if I were to ever return I would not book a package, hire a car and explore the island yourself, it's small, little traffic and there are some terrific restaurants, very inexpensive. Room are clean, view of beach is nice, took the all inclusive package some nights had al acarte menu to choose from those nights food was very tasty, but buffet bfast was not nice as well as buffet lunch most times i had to eat a salad. No room service, no options for kids, should have a kids menu. There is alot of room for improvement in the food aspect. I did not get my money's worth.

My wife and I booked the hotel for six days, to spend New Year´s Eve. Based on what we could see in their website, and other pictures. Reality is that the hotel needs a lot of work, and in reality looks nothing like the pictures in the website. They offered nightly entertainment, that never materialized. Parking area is a dump. Rooms are very dark, electrical outlets are not standard, and they don´t have converters. So, we decided to cut down our stay because did not like the hotel. Management told us that their policy did not allow refunding the nights not used. So in the end, we stayed four nights, and were charged to our credit card USD 1,475... what any 5 star hotel would have cost us. Needless to say, we will never go back, and hope our experience help other customers don´t make the same mistake.…

The beach here is absolutely lovely. When we were there the beach was calm and incredibly clear. It is a wonderful view to wake up to in the morning. Make sure to wake up early and take walks on the beach.

We traveled as a couple for my husband's birthday. The resort is a little older, but still very clean. We had the Turtle Beach Room on the 3rd floor, which was very clean and had comfortable beds. All the rooms had ocean views, which is nice. The fridge was filled with soft drinks at the beginning of our stay but was not refilled during the week. There was also free wifi all over the resort, which was a nice plus. The beach had dark sand that got very hot during the day. The water was also very warm, but there were quite strong waves, which made getting into the water a bit more difficult. The swimming pools were small and shallow, but clean. The resort normally has a lot of leatherback turtles that visit the beach, but during our stay in March, there was only one. The food was good, but had a limited selection. We didn't have trouble getting something good to eat though. We didn't sample many of the drinks, but only had the beer, and red/white wines, which were fairly good. For my husband's birthday, the resort staff sent us a bottle of champagne, which was very appreciated. We also paid extra to have a lobster dinner at a gazebo behind the restaurant. The staff were very friendly and hard-working. We booked an island tour through Sunwing, where they took us around various spots around the island. The flight is almost 7 hours on the way back with no meal, so bring some snacks with you. Overall the location is great and there's a lot of potential. With a renovation, this can be one of the best resorts in the area.…
