We just got back from T&C last week and stayed at the Vista Azul and also next door at the Queen Angel. The property and grounds were very nice and the pools were nice too. Our VRBO unit was super tiny so I would definitely research better next time as there are bigger units there. You really have to largely rely on getting groceries because there’s not much around. In the courtyard there’s a little gelato place that serves food and down the road is a cute cafe called Turks Wave. There’s a restaurant Simone’s but we hardly saw anyone there. Three other restaurants at the Turtle Cove Marina are Mangoes, Sharkbite, and Baci. It was just inconvenient not really having anything onsite, like if you wanted to grab a water or soda. You also have to walk about 10 minutes to the beach, and the access is hard to find. It definitely is more affordable staying there - $180/night, but you have to consider needing a car to get groceries. It’s a quieter area too.

Stayed at this property for 24 hours as our flight was cancelled. Nice property, an Italy feel from the building. Nice rooms and room balcony. We caught this property at the last minute and they were accommodating. Rooms are equipped with all the necessities you would find in a condo (plates, glasses, silverware, etc.) very nice. The shower is amazing. Did not get a chance to see the pool. No elevator, so I hope you are in shape, difficult if you have luggage but overall, not bad. Had dinner at the Mango Reef which is within walking distance. I give it 4 stars.

La Vista Resort is well maintained with 2 pools and a jacuzzi on the roof top with an amazing view of Gracebay. The best restaurants on the island are walking distance, Mango Reef, La Magnilia. Snorkeling is beautiful with colorful fish, turtles, rays etc… The grounds are beautiful. We felt very safe with gated parking lot and security 24 hrs. Great place for families or couples .

Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. The hotel reservation manager is only looking after revenue and was not willing to refund a one night stay due to an illness. At first, the front desk representative offered to rebook my stay but changed her mind later. Even Expedia customer service did their best to assist but came back with a negative answer that the hotel is not willing to assist. After reading the hotel review, I am not surprised, the hotel is poorly managed, and even the website pictures are misleading. This is a condo building that has various rooms available to stay in… You can spend your money at better condo.

Not likely I would go back. The staff was rude and people all over the island are not very friendly. When I arrived, it was an hour before check in time, I asked the staff if I can please sit under the AC, and they flat out said NO!! you must wait outside. Not to mention it was like 100 degrees!!! I stayed in the Sea Esta Studio 1 and never once anyone came to change towels or garbage. You definitely have to rent a car at 75$ a day to get around, not to mention drive on the opposite side. That 13-minute walk to the beach they talk about isn't recommended!!!! Everything is beyond overpriced. Grace Bay Beach is Gorgeous!!! We spent most of our time there, and my daughter enjoyed going snorkeling.
Other than that, they can have it. The airport looks like an oversized DMV without any ac. It's just ridiculous that as much revenue as they bring into that island some places look the way they do.
SO, Never Again. and if I did go it will have to be all inclusive and never leave.

My fiance and I are in pretty good shape so we didn't mind that there are no elevators on this terraced property/building, or that we had to carry our luggage up multiple flights of stairs. Our room was located over a dumpster in an alley where staff would gather to talk and smoke. apparently the place was fully booked so we couldn't change rooms, although it didn't appear to be that busy. The overall property is aging and has a tired feel. During our stay we were told vehemently on more than one occasion we should not walk after dark to nearby restaurants and bars because it was too dangerous, which meant sometimes having to get a taxi for the equivalent of one block. The pools are at the top of the hotel, great views, but lots of stairs and close early after dark, and they have condos/rooms opening right onto the pools. At one point when asking for extra towels for the room we were given a bit of a run around before being told the hotel didn't want guests to have extra towels, and that we should wait for the in room towels to finish drying in the in room dryer. The staff had put all of the towels through the wash at once, so even though we had just returned from the beach we had to wait for the towels to dry before showering to go out to dinner. In general the room smelled a bit of past smokers combined with the odor of industrial cleaner. The hotel seemed a bit understaffed, and did not have any convenient direct access to the beach, (long non-scenic road walk). The staff that was on hand, while cordial just didn't seem that happy, no smiles. There are a few more things but we would just recommend skipping the Vista Azul.

Do yourself a favor and stay literally ANYWHERE else. For starters this should barely be considered a hotel. If you take a look at the website and think "oh this isn't that bad" you'd be wrong. The website pictures are EXTREMELY misleading. This is actually a condo building that has various rooms available to stay in. We were treated to a ground floor room with a lovely view of the parking lot. Among the overall grey motif and mysterious stains on the wall we were also lucky enough to find dead bug splatters throughout the room and a moldy shower head. The "staff" were incredibly rude and could not be bothered with helping us with anything. I put "staff" in quotes because they aren't hotel staff, they manage the condo. They aren't intended to be helpful especially with any needs you'd expect from a concierge or anyone working at a resort or hotel.
We only stayed for one night and it was one too many. If you ever stay here expecting a nice hotel/resort feel you'll be so sad and your trip will be ruined. So again, stay literally ANYWHERE else -- you'll be so glad you did.

Thank you for your comments. We are disappointed you had some challenges during your visit. While we are not located directly on the beach, we offer the best value in Grace Bay. The imagery is not misleading on our website: the photos were taken professionally and show our pools, sun deck, and views of Grace Bay. Our staff checks on guests at the beginning of a stay, during, and upon checkout. We wish you safe travels in the future.

Online pics of this place look nice but...No safe in room, roaches in multiple rooms, another couple was complaining about them while I was at reception. Also, room not cleaned, dirty bug zapper left on kitchen counter, bathroom dirty, dirty laundry left in closet and horrendous customer service. Room was moved, dead roach in the cabinet, dishwasher never emptied, and washer broke and was never fixedafter maintenance said he would. After many attempts to get a resolution, once I got home I spoke to the GM of the company, rude man, he agreed to give 2 nights stay refund. At first they offered one night refund, which was basically an insult. After they said 2, I just gave up. Still would never recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Do not stay here you are warned, we thought we were staying here . We booked through Orbitz , we won’t book with them again) they do not look out for their customers and so not give refunds after having this nasty hotel on their website. The hotel room is dark as well as the walk way even in daylight, Roaches, very dim lights like they don’t want you to see what’s going to happen I. The room moldy smell. This hotel has no elevator but you will be climbing a mountain if that’s where your room is. Upcharges at the one restaurant within 5-10 miles of the hotel nothing around!! Traveler be ware !! Do Not Book With Orbitz Do NOT STay At Hotle la vista azul.. BE WARE.. I would give it no stars.. by the way upon arrival we saw no guests we were the only people there except a local couple..

Thank you for taking time to write a review of your recent stay. We are disappointed to hear your experience did not live up to our normally high standards. Building #2, where you stayed, has a lot of natural light and this is not a complaint we have heard before, neither have we heard of mold concerns. There is a set of stairs at the resort, and had you requested, we could have placed you at the back of the building where there is free parking and elevators for your convenience. Again, we are sorry your experience was not to the standard our other guests typically enjoy and sincerely hope your future travels are more to your liking.

Our condo was very clean. Modern appliances and all furniture was in good condition. The owners contacted me several times to make sure everything was ok. The buildings are all well kept and and the property is well maintained. The view is spectacular! It is in Turtle Cove next to some good restaurants. Shark Bites and Mango Reef are within walking distance. Beautiful place.

If you are old enough definitely rent a car. If not you could try to stay closer to the Grace Bay Area and book a airport transfer through TripAdvisor- it is much more expensive to do this when you are there.
There are more places to choose from in the Providenciales area.
