This is a wonderful resort right on the beach. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly and the accommodations are spectacular. The food also is very good, especially the fish tacos for lunch. Stay here!
We stayed for a week in July, in a one bedroom unit at Reef Residences. Clean, comfortable, steps from one of the most beautiful beaches in the world! Employees were kind and always helpful. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!
This location is perfect to get to the beach. It has a walk way that leads you to the most beautiful beach!! The rooms were secluded and surrounded by beautiful landscapes of flowers and palms. It has a private porch with outdoor table and chairs and the 2 sliding glass doors open completely open to the porch. It has a full kitchen and all the amenities you would need. The staff is helpful and friendly. Our family of 6 loved this place !!
Very clean and quiet! Nice big living room and bedroom. Fully stocked kitchen with all appliances working well. Friendly staff. Literally steps to the best beach. Take your snorkelling gear for some communing with the fish. Would go again for sure!
My wife and I have visited many islands in the Caribbean, Tahiti and Hawaii. We look for a great place to snorkel, has turquoise water, condo style living and reasonable rates. The Reef Residence hit all our requirements before we arrived and meet all our requirements and expectations during our stay. We stayed in a one bedroom that was clean and roomy. It had a fully equipped kitchen and even daily replenishment of coffee. Yes, there was daily maid service, like a hotel, but we were never inconvenienced. When we left the room to snorkel in the morning, the room was cleaned. We never saw the maid. The wifi was great and cable television had enough channels. The pool was great! Front desk was great with information, booking of excursions and getting us taxis. Very friendly staff and very helpful. The beach was super and lounge chairs and umbrellas were in great shape and comfortable. Rum punch at noon was also great! My wife and I love to snorkel. We snorkeled two to three times a day from the beach. We saw a lot turtles, rays and all kinds of fish and coral. We snorkeled 15 times during our 7 day stay. This was the best snorkeling from a beach we have experienced. We have snorkeled a couple hundred times in our lifetime. And great sand and turquoise water. The water is very calm. This is a great place for kids to learn how to snorkel. But is also a great place for experienced snorkelers. If you are staying over on a Thursday night, you must go to the island fish fry just 10 minute walk on the beach. There are many fish stands and souvenir stands. The Somewhere Cafe was just okay. Mr. Grouper restaurant was great, I highly recommend it. These are the only two restaurants we visited. We ate in our condo to keep the cost down. We visited the IGA for food and liquor and made our own meals. But, there are many restaurants on the island if you like to eat out. The resort next to the Reef Residence has a gift shop with some food like chips, wine, candy, etc. We did not rent a car. We took taxies and it ended up to be much cheaper than renting a car. The island has no stop lights, there are roundabouts. Driving on the opposite side of the road and doing roundabouts would have been a little much for us. Most taxi rides anywhere on the island is $12; check with the cab driver what they are going to charge before getting into the cab. We look forward to visiting the Reef Residence again. Maybe for a 3 or 4 week stay. Providenciales is a great location for warn turquoise water and snorkeling. And the Reef Residence is the place to stay.…
