My husband and I stayed over at the eco lodge one night and then had a class with Carmen on edible leaves, trees , fruits, recipes and how to make foods and medicines. Carmen is an excellent teacher and we learned so much! The cabins are clean and peaceful with a nice breeze, comfy beds and a sink with cold...

We love offering plant workshops as there are so many fun and exciting things to learn here. Thanks for taking the class and staying with us!

We stayed for the weekend here. Carmen was super nice, although we never had the opportunity to meet Matt. The downsides were the lack of hot water, and the lack of changed sheets. Despite trying to keep sand out of the sheets, it was a very difficult feat. The open tent concept is nice, although a lock on the door...

If you like camping, Mt Victory is a great place to go. All cooking supplies are provided, the bungalows keep you dry during rainy season. The breezes and forest sounds are perfect for sleeping. It's a short drive up the hill from one of the best beaches on the island. Matt & Carmen go out of their way to make...

Went for a wedding and wanted to stay for ever! Beautiful as a venue or a get away. The owners were amazingly helpful and knowledgeable about the island and all it has to offer. I would recommend Mount Victory Camp for all ages and all backgrounds. Whether you are an avid outdoorsmen or just a lazy daisy this is a...

My girlfriend and I had an amazing stay at MVC. Carmen and Matt is really friendly and helpful. It was an incredible experience to sleep in the rainforest and fall a sleep to the sound of all the different animals. The lodge we stayed in was big and clean. I would differently recommend to stay at MCV and would do...

I stayed here on a school trip for 2 weeks. Falling asleep to the rainforest background is incredible. Bring an extra blanket to sleep with, it is a rainforest climate so your stuff will become a little damp. I also recommend bringing more than one bath towel because they are not provided. Matt and Carmen are awesome people and really...

Spent two weeks in the schoolhouse and loved every second (millipedes and all). Carmen, Matt, Ilee, Donkey and Ceiba made us feel like we belonged at Mt. Victory. Disclaimer: To call it a lodge would be a bit of a stretch for some. We went to a fancy resort and some in our group were wishing they were staying there....

Spending the afternoon at Mount Victory Eco Lodge with Matt, Carmen and their daughter making bamboo bows was the highlight of our trip! Matt took us from the beginning with splitting a large bamboo log into sections through, shaping, making our own bow string and finally actually shooting with our bow in just over four hours. Never hacked bamboo with...

We have been hearing how awesome Mount Victory is and how fun the classes Carmen and Matt put on are. We finally went to a basket weaving class with Carmen. I admit, I was going along for my wife. But as soon as we got there, I was so excited! The grounds are amazing! Carmen and Matt are very welcoming...

We have visited Mt. Victory Camp a few times with our younger boys. They love to go and learn with Matt. Learn to make fire, arrowheads, bow and arrows. We need to go back and do a hike through the rain forest. Matt and Carmen are lovely. We can't wait to go back.
