We stayed for one night, before boarding a charter boat trip. The room was okay - small and fine for a night. We grabbed a beer at the front office and sat out by the pool for a bit, which did have a very beautiful view. It is elevated and overlooks town and the water. The restaurant and bar are closed and I don't think there are too many nearby restaurants that you can walk to. The lady at the front desk was very nice!
Jorge was an amazing host. The hotel offers spectacular views of Charlotte Amalie from the balcony. The location of the hotel is easily accessible to the downtown. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others!
This place had a wonderful view. Even though we spent much of our time around the island and not the hotel when we were staying here it was all great! The view on the pool is the best for sure! Staff was also very friendly.
Stayed for a week solo and had a fantastic time at this charming hotel. The views are simply unbeatable and it's nothing super fancy but the room was very nice, clean and quiet. Hotel manager was so nice and helpful, especially since I was traveling alone. Jorge will go out of his way to make sure that every guest has a great stay. The location is not bad, however, it's not walkable to anywhere (Sibs a super good bar/restaurant to check out right up the hill is semi-walkable but have to be very careful of cars). If you don't have a car, getting around the island can be a bit tricky but it is definitely doable via taxis. Would love to go back when the hotel restaurant is open, since it's supposed to be incredible. Overall, if you are happy with a simple hotel that has great views and an awesome staff, this is a wonderful option.…
I booked this hotel based on two factors: affordability and some of the most stunning views on the island. The bonuses were reading through review after review saying how friendly and accommodating the staff are, which was also true. When we arrived, Jorge the GM let us know we were some of the only people there. This was perfect during Covid. There would be no daily housekeeping and no pool bar or restaurant. Small bummer about the bar, but totally understandable. (There's a bar less than 5 min up the road that is adorable.) The room itself was cute, but older. Fridge was a little leaky and there were a few light stains on the sheets. Outside of that, everything else was excellent. Good cable TV in the room. Wifi worked pretty well. Convenient parking right on the road and it was a super quick ride from the airport. Jorge himself was awesome. Super knowledgeable about the island, very friendly and allowed us a late check-out even though the hotel was booked solid after we left (thank you again!). The real stunner is that pool view. Most nights we were there by ourselves or mingling with some locals that figured out the pool is easy to access. The rest of the property is adorable, with cute accents here and there. There's a coy pond, but the dude looked a little lonely, so I'd say get him a friend. I would go back here in a heartbeat and I'd encourage friends and family to do the same.…
