Our flight arrived in the morning and we had to wait til after check in time to get into our room. The cleaners had just left but you wouldn't have guessed that by the condition of the room. Is it that hard to get good...More
The best part of our stay is the beach and restaurant. Unfortunately, the room was dirty and all of the towels, rugs and bedspreads were threadbare and worn or had holes. If the place had a good cleaning and linens were replaced, it could compete...More
The beach bar was excellent. However, the rooms were terrible. Firstly, the door to our room did not close properly, and so did the other room our party had ordered. When the staff is cleaning, they leave the doors open so if you take your...More
Given the fact that we stayed here overnight because our flight back home was canceled, our opinion of the place is naturally bitter. But even if you look past our anger at the airline, this hotel was still terrible. First, we were given a room...More
I have traveled for work much more then I like to admit, which indicates it's way too much. I have learned to temper my expectations to prove and availability. This hotel really was the worse I have stayed at.

If you're talking about Marriott's Frenchmans Reef Resort it's far to walk lol. Frenchmans Reef is on the west end down town towards Charlotte Amalie near Redhook bay. Your best choice is rent a car, or take a taxi shouldn't be more than $25 bucks to get there or less! If you were to walk it would take you close to 2.5hrs to walk there depending on how fast you walk hahaha it's close to 10miles but also take into consideration you will be hiking up and down mountains because the terrain is not like US terrain where it's flat!
Good luck :) St. Thomas is my second home I visit every year.
