We stayed 3 nights in La Casita. The spiral staircase was not a problem, air conditioning worked well and Ms Luisa was such an interesting lady! The 6 minute walk down the hill to the waterfront was just 10 minutes up hill for us (agile 70+) and the views, great pool as well away from the noises of the city,...

A 6 minute walk from town and a great Green House Restaurant. The owner Luisa is the sweetest and will take care of you during your stay. La casita is closest to the gate entrance with a loft and perfect view of the cruise ships in the port. Has a microwave and full size fridge so definitely bring back left...

I was on the island for a large workshop but the venue we were using didn't have any availability the first few days of our visit. We stayed for two nights at Villa Santana before transferring to the Marriott Frenchman's Reef - of the two hotels, Villa Santana was my favorite, hands down! From the second I called, Ms Luisa...

We had a great time staying at Villa Santana last week for 6 nights. Our room was clean, quiet and very comfortable. We made use of the fridge and microwave to reheat some leftovers from dinner. The pool was great after a long day trekking around the island. It is only a 10-minute walk or 3-minute drive into town. Louisa...

If you are interested in historical places with charm, this is the place for you. The villa is very well represented in the photos on the web site. My husband and I stayed for one month in La Casita during the holidays. We did not rent a car and found the walking to be very delightful. Some days the hill...

If you want room service and people to bring your drinks poolside, this is not the place for you. If you want to lie on the sand, right outside your door, this is not the place for you. However, if you want to feel as if you're staying at a friend's private Villa, book a room. The view is spectacular...

This is not the easiest place the find trekking up the hill from Main Street but well worth the hike. The 5 cottages / rooms are all beautifully decorated and each has its own special charm and appeal. The courtyard is huge and offers a fantastic view of the St. Thomas Harbor. The owner is a very sweet lady who...

My wife and I thought Villa Santana to be well priced with a stunning view of the harbor and a pleasant veranda to enjoy it from. Rooms were nice, too. But the the icing on the cake was Louisa, the proprietor. She was helpful and informative when we arrived, and really came through when I unexpectedly wound up in the local...

We stayed here last minute as we couldn't find another hotel. It had great reviews so I felt good about it. I was so disappointed in our room. It was so small and the staircase is so narrow, I'm a small person and it was still tight. It didn't help that there was a huge spider on the wall when...

Spent 3 nights here after a sailing charter in the BVIs. It is an authentic Caribbean experience. A villa on the steep hillside with constant spectacular harbor views. Note there is no AC but we found the ceiling fans and the trade winds to be good enough. Luisa is very helpful. The pool is excellent. You can walk to town...
