This was my first experience with a B&B and what a wonderful discovery. I loved my stay here. The inn is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and every room has a breathtaking view. Pam and Matt are superb hosts--friendly and helpful and seem to think of everything to make their guests comfortable. The breakfasts were delicous and kept us going through... More

We were fortunate enough to return this November for another fantastic stay. The rooms are extremely clean and comfortable with wonderful pillows, towels and bath products. The view is beautiful and the pool refreshing. Breakfast is delicious and bountiful. Pam and Matt are delightful hosts. We can't wait to return!

We were on our way home from Trotola and spent two nights. We should have made more time available. The location is great, the food is the best we have ever had at a B&B and the owners/host are more than accomodating. They have developed and continue to develop a very wonderful and comfortable "Home in the Tropics. When we... More

Perfect place to stay - great value in the off-season (5th night free) - SO much cheaper than resorts on the island. Location is OK - 5-10 minute walk (up & down a large hill w/ steps) to local restaurants but the VI taxi association is always a second away and can take you anywhere (very reliable! Used them all... I have been to many bed and breakfasts, and this was by far the best. Pam and Matt were amazing hosts, providing information on where to go, what to see, and most importantly what to eat. The breakfasts that they made were great! The selection of food they provided each morning was huge, and they made accommodations for those with... More

While looking for a place to stay on St. Thomas that wasn't a chain hotel, or a big resort, I happen across incredible reviews of At Home In The Tropics. I booked two nights and I was not disappointed. Pam and Matt couldn't have been more friendly and hospital, and their inn charming and very comfortable. It was hard to... More

At Home in the Tropics is the first B&B we have stayed at twice. Small, homey, comfortable, quiet. When we decided to make a second trip to St. Thomas, we had no doubts about where to stay. Our trip was on very short notice, so we were concerned about finding a place to stay, but Pam and Matt worked with... More

Just got back from a perfect vacation on the island of St Thomas. At Home in the Tropics is without a doubt a great B and B. Pam and Matt are the best!! I read the unbelievable reviews and didnt believe. I am now a beliver. Matt and Pam are 5 star hosts, go to bed so you don't miss breakfast, view the cruise ships from their porch, swim in their pool. You must be able to walk and climb the 113 stairs to/from downtown. Great adventure. Safe neighborhood with Governor office next... More

We had a wonderful travel experience at At Home In The Tropics. We are regular B&Bers and this rates in our top 5.
