We just returned from our stay. I rented a condo at Sapphire Beach Resort through vrbo.com. I need to say that I was a little nervous when the taxi turned off the road to enter the resort. As you come down the driveway you first see un-kept tennis courts and overgrown weeds. But if you look out past the resort...

Sapphire beach was the best beach on the island much better than Magen's bay beach in my opinion! Even though Magen's bay is beautiful, cruise ship and the crowd just take away from your relaxing experience. We rented a condo thru Airbnb at sapphire beach resort and marina and the duplex condo was beautiful! Waking up to beautiful sunrise everyday...

Nothing is perfect. Nothing. When I arrived, Shamara told me my reservation had been cancelled. When I said 'that's OK, I'll come and stay at your house', she moved her computer keys and assigned me room A305. It was far better than the room I had reserved: a duplex with a King bed and 2 sleeper sofas, 2 full baths,...

We were in room a203. Got an upgrade from the Yacht Habour Suite which was much appreciated as we were direct on the beach. Couldn't work out the beach beds we weren't allowed to sit on the beds close to Crystal Beach but only allowed to sit on the one close to Sapphire Beach despite the fact they all have...

Sapphire Beach resort is not a resort. It is a condo complex with a very run down pool area and a beautiful beach with very good snorkeling. Our condo ( rented on VRBO) was in building D overlooking the water and St John in the distance but also overlooking a very run down pool area( the ducks loved swimming in...

Sapphire Beach is the best beach on St. Thomas. Lots of people prefer Magen's Bay beach but that is crowded especially when there are lots of cruise ships in port. I personally don't care for tiptoeing through people and their beach stuff just trying to get to the water. Sapphire is less crowded yet has a beach bar and a...

Just came back from our trip. Wow! I have to admit it was my first time renting a condo from VRBO and I was a little hesitant. I am used to booking hotel rooms for our vacations, so I was not sure what to expect renting a condo from an owner. But I listened to my fellow trip advisors and...

Closest we have ever stayed to the beach. You are literally ON the sand. Fantastic view! Beach is gorgeous. Saw fish snorkeling (not a ton but definitely enough for my kids) Pool is very run down but usable. We have been at the beach the whole time! Best Chicken Sandwich at beach restaurant. Hidden gem away from the cruise ships!...

If you're looking for white sandy quiet beaches and the perfect place to put your toes in the sand, this is it! Right on the ocean and so relaxing. Loved the pool and grounds...well taken care. Will definitely return!
