The proximity to the marina really influenced our choice of this condo. The screened porch faced the marina with various islands in the background. A beautiful view is an understatement. The water is the most beautiful in the Caribbean. We usually stay in Charlotte Amalie, but spent lots of time on the east end of the Island so we decided... More

This is a good place to stay for a vacation if you do not want to spend hotel $$$ and you want to be close to everything- including the best beaches, pools, and the restaurants/nightlife in red hook. Most of the condos are kept very well but there are some older ones in desperate need of remodeling. However, I would... More

Located in the East End near Red Hook and Ferry dock - Convenient location! Village is owners condos vs the resort. Family oriented. Good value on VRBO or AirBnB. My stay was in the Dominica building right on the Marina - great views. Free Wi-fi with some rentals. Transportation-You can ride the safari bus (open air) for $1-2. The bus... More

We rented a unit here through AirBNB, and I was a little worried about what the complex would look like when we arrived. Turns out there was no reason for worry! The complex is obviously older, but VERY well maintained; we saw workers tending to the gardens and pool areas just in the 4 days we stayed there. The views... More

We really enjoyed our stay at Sapphire Village. It is a good place to stay for the price and location. Here are a few tips for you if you decide to stay: From the airport: Get a taxi van as soon as you exit the airport. (CASH $16 per person and $2 per bag). There are plenty of taxis available.... I stayed here last minute for a few nights and enjoyed my stay. I was traveling alone and felt very safe here. They have 24 hr security at the gate. That was the main reason I stayed here even though it was more money than I wanted to spend. There's a nice pool bar and restaurant that has happy hour... More

The first thing to know is that this property sits up a large hill form Sapphire beach. I'm disabled, so walking to the beach is not an option due to the distance and the hill. I paid $99.00/ night, so I was more than happy to rent a car. Sapphire Village is located in the east end, Red Hook area... More

Sapphire village sits up on the hill of Sapphire Bay , for me the nicest beach on the island. Great views and two pools for the kids. Some units are better than others meaning more updated but all are generally the same. Redhook ferry right down the road . Also we had food delivered from down the road called Señor... More

We have just returned from our 3rd visit to Sapphire Village Condos in the past five years. We love the hilly area the condos are built on. They sure get you in shape after a week hiking back and forth to the beach. Some things have changed since our first visit. They no longer have any entertainment at the pub/restaurant... More
