Stayed here just one night, but as usual for a Premier Inn, a very comfortable room, quiet, lovely bathroom with particularly good shower. Staff very friendly and helpful. No negatives for the Hotel. However the Pentrebach Restaurant is a little tired, Food good, Dinner and Brea

I would strongly recommend staying here if visiting South Wales. The staff at reception were helpful, courteous and clearly took great pride in their work. It is very near to a train station if planning a visit to the interesting city of Cardiff, which avoids paying the exorbitan

Efficient check in, spacious rooms, quiet (apart from other guests in the hallway but that’s anywhere!) staying in room 122.
Possible suggestion to hotel management of soundproofing doors so can’t hear this?

Be mindful no lifts but as a business traveller with minimal luggage

Booked into the Premier Inn in Merthyr Tydfil as a halfway house stop enroute to Pembrokeshire with a family room.

Can we bring mountain bikes into the room? They will be clean. Thanks
Hi Ben We welcome clean bikes with dirt-free tyres. If your bike needs a clean-up, reception should be able to give you a bucket, water and a brush. If you could walk your bike into reception and around the hotel, we’d be very grateful. And if you could lean it gently on the wall, we’d appreciate it. Darren

can you open the windows.?
Yes a little and area isn't too noisy. I was there in July and room was warm though there was a good fan in the room. I thought the heating control in the room was air-conditioning and couldn't get it to work. When I went to see reception, they provided me with a double sheet rather than the quilt which was much better.

Hi there can you please tell me why I can't book a room for 1 night sat 9th of July, yet I can book one for 2 nights from fri 8th? Thanks, Ben.
Hi Ben C Thanks for your query. I can confirm that at peak times our rooms will be allocated against different length of stays and on this occasion all the rooms for 1 night stay are fully booked. There may be availability for 1 night stays at nearby hotels, or you may be able to book a 1 night stay nearer the time, however we are unable to guarantee this. Sorry for any inconvenience. "No choice given for a Family Room!"
"Rooms on the side away from the road are quitest"
"Room 122 at the rear of the premises was extremely quiet at night."
"There was no lift so if you have problems with stairs it might be best to mention it."
