We love Concordia for its scenic view, beautiful stars, night sounds of tree frogs, birds coming to our deck, proximity to Salt Pond Bay, and ECO philosophy. It has a great view over Ram's Head and Salt Pond Bay, across the Caribbean to St. Croix, and of other islands in the area. Breakfast on our deck each morning is a...

This was my first trip to St. John and did some touring of the island, spending the next to last night in Concordia. It was wonderful to be unplugged. We had an amazing view room from the eco tent and hiked the many trails, as well as meeting other like minded families. The restaurant was closed the night we were...

Our premium eco-tent gave us the most amazing ocean views (we saw whales, lovely sunrises and passing ships) and contours of the island ... it almost seemed as if we were the only ones around for miles. I think one could get that sense in most of the premium tents on the easternmost edge of the complex where you are...

A recent weekend staycation at Concordia reminded me why I love this island. The resort is ideally situated for exploring the wilder, off-the-beaten-path side of the island. Rooms are clean and comfortable, with everything you need and nothing you don't. Staff is friendly, and there's a warmth between staff and fellow guests that sets you at ease and inspires happiness...

Clean, quiet, and most relaxing. I felt like I was sleeping under the stars! The solar paneling for our unit was efficient, Salt Pond was a short nature hike away and the staff was extremely friendly!

The eco tents (premium eco tents are worth the $ as the views are better) have everything you need - except Wi-Fi and phones. This is one of the best points for us - I am an internet addict and this is my "rehab". The views are sensational and the comfortable - huge - tents let you take it all...

Our Eco-Studio (electricity throughout, big deck, big bedroom with table and chairs, bathroom and kitchen with gas stove, fridge, sink) was wonderfully private and comfortable. Having even a very small kitchen gave us great flexibility about breakfasts and even dinners--eat out only when you feel like it! Breakfasts, even dinners, (there are grills near the pool for cooking the main...

Great things about the eco-tent: the view (the ocean and mountains, can't get better than that), the breeze, the sturdiness of the structure, and the general setup was more like a cabin than a tent. The location can't be better if you want to really get away and relax! The Salt Pond beach is a short hike away (but is...

Good points: The eco-tents have everything you need. Views are incredible. The beach (Salt Pond Bay) is a close-ish walk (20 min on a nature trail--be warned-its pretty hilly), the snorkeling at Salt Pond is fantastic. Close hikes (definitely do Rams Head). Staff is friendly. Bus runs Mon-Sat from the end of the driveway (about a 10 min uphill walk...

Our family ( 11yo and 13yo) stayed at Concordia last week for 6 nights. Overall, we would go back for the following reasons 1) location 2) unique aspects of disconnecting with devices 3) minimalistic living in the tents allowing our family insight into our luxuries of daily living. Things to know.. 1) you need headlamps 2) you need very, very...
