Went to the Bahamas for my sister and mine birthday. Place served its purpose. Access to the city was easy through bus #10 which dropped us in front of the place, a small beach was just crossing the street, pizza place and a supermarket nearby! Not good for families with children but very good for those going to rest and...

Pros: Nice people, AC works, clean w/ no bugs (just mosquitoes), cheaper than other places Cons: No running water for shower or sink, spotty wi-fi, dimly lit, 752.52$ for 4 nights but no water, new towels had little curly hairs embedded in them, I would never stay here again. This place almost ruined our vacation. We came to the Bahamas...

We stayed here 30 years ago for our honeymoon, and went back to visit during a recent trip to the Bahamas. The owners/staff are just as warm and friendly and treat you just like family. The food is out of this world. The cracked conch is the best we have ever tasted. We are so glad we stopped by.

So I visited the Bahamas and stayed at this quaint place. I really liked the Island feel and the price was right. it wasn't high tech, it wasn't gorgeous but for what I was doing it was ideal, I was just sleeping there to save money paid $120.00 for the night. The balconies have what I believe are guava fruit hanging...

Great little place. Believe there are fifteen rooms..We just dined here one night ...lovely pool environment. Excellent fish meal. Cook served us. Lovely man who told us about the hotel . Nettie The woman who owns this accommodation is an eccentric artist and the whole interior is amazing...so colourful and paintings very abstract. Great furniture in reception area... and interesting...

Won't stay again. This place is a dump. Not clean, dimly lit and tiny rooms. Bathroom was last renovated in the 70s. The pool is over-chlorinated and really hurt the eyes. On a very busy street, makes access quite dodgy without an area for pickup and drop off

The accomodations are ok, the food is the best we have had with an entertaining parrot to boot. We were so homesick for tasty non greasy food and the fish is fresh, the guava duff is the most tasty because they are cooked in an authentic bahamian style...not just salt and peper like everywhere else. The site is so cool...

I don't know why people are thinking negative about this little hotel. The Casuarinas is a low-budget place and nobody can expect 5 stars. The main thing is that i'ts clean and the employes and the family are the most friendliest people I ever met in the Bahamas! I know this accomodation including the staff since more than 26 years...
