Great downtown location. On the water and was a five minute walk from the client. The food was great in the hotel and the staff we always friendly and very helpful. Beds were very comfy and the rooms were a good size. The hotel is starting to look a bit tired in some areas though. Bathrooms were dated and in...

So I will try my best to be as clear and concise as possible so it helps someone out there to make an informed decision. My wife and I stayed at the British Colonial from the 11th to 17th of February in a 1 bedroom suite. There are significant pros and cons with this hotel... Pros: 1. Location, location, location!!!...

I was in Nassau on business and it was most convenient to stay at the Hilton as it is walking distance from Parliament (as well as many other great attractions!) I had stayed here years ago and was as impressed now with the staff as I was then. The Bahamians are in general the nicest folks on the planet, so...

I think this hotel is subpar for the Hilton brand. The staff is insufficiently attentive to the requests and needs of customers. Customer service training is urgently required if the hotel is to fulfill on the Hilton brand promise.

We arrive to the hotel when it was dark and the family was hungry. We went upstairs to place our items in the room. My husband used the rest room and notice the toilet did not flush. We call for service a little after 8pm only to have someone knock on our door after midnight. The issue resolved on its...

The hotel is old, tired, mold in bathrooms, small room with old tired mattress, inconsistent service, poor bar and limited pool service. Overpriced for size of room and service. Good location and nice view of harbor.

Just a short walk from the pier in Nassau, and a block or so from the Straw Market, you find the British Colonial Resort where for a fee of $65 per person you can spend the day taking advantage of almost all of the amenities (wifi not included) and of that $65, $40 is credited to you for Dining/Bar. The...

We totally enjoyed BC Hilton Nassua while on a cruise port stop less than a 15 minute walk from the pier. There was a small beach and an awesome pool. The staff was friendly and attentive. It was a great day!

The question is where to start here...we stayed at this hotel for the last night of our trip (we did a scuba diving trip on a liveaboard boat). Overall, the grounds and everything looked really nice, until you got to your room or were walking around for a while. There were literally panhandlers in the lobby, convenience store in hotel,...

Situated on downtown Nassau’s only private beach and the site of Old Fort Nassau, the British Colonial Hilton in the Bahamas has undergone a multi-million renovation throughout all areas of the hotel, and offers a taste of the island’s rich history, along with some of the most modern amenities for both business and vacation travelers. What’s more the hotel is only 25 minutes from Nassau (Lynden Pindling International) Airport. The hotel is a true Bahamian experience with a marble-tiled lobby and is studded with palm trees under a skylight ceiling. There are 288 luxuriously appointed guest rooms with harbor or island views. All rooms are furnished with tasteful decor, complemented by separate shower and bathtub. One-bedroom suites offer a separate living area with sofa bed, and Executive accommodations are also available along with the Executive Lounge, where attentive hotel staff assures that every need and whim will be met during your stay. Recreational activities are convenient and varied for leisure and business travelers alike. A 300-ft long private white sand beach is furnished with lounge chairs and thatched sunshades overlooking the harbor offering a peaceful and secluded access for an ocean swim or a day in the sun. Use of kayaks and snorkeling gear on the beach is complimentary. Bordered on one side by a tropical garden, the hotel's freshwater pool offers harbor views and has an expansive sundeck with lounge chairs and umbrellas. Both the sundeck and beach offer views of cruise ships moored nearby, and of the western tip of Paradise Island, 300 yards offshore. Guests can snooze in hammocks on the lawn adjacent to the pool. The property can also organize trips out reef snorkeling island exploring, boating, golf, tennis and scuba diving. For dining options, Aqua is a fun, casual restaurant serving international favorites with a Caribbean flair, or guests can meet up for cocktails at the Bullion Bar. “Don't choose this hotel. Lots of other options for the price.”
  • Headboard/lighting shelf over the bed...was probably last dusted a year ago
  • Black mold growing on shower walls.
  • This is a so-called ocean view
  • bathroom and shower doors opening into one another...mirror on back of door could easily smash
  • Why not just fill that hole in? Or silicon the metal ring to the wall to cover it?
  • Very dusty headboard, pics don't do it justice. This is over the bed.
