When headed to Nassau most may run to the Baha Mar properties and the craziness of Atlantis. No need! My husband and I traveling with friends during Thanksgiving. Friends stayed at loud over crowded property while we relished in this Oasis right in the heart of the city. The grounds are dated and statues broken but it’s exactly those flaws that make this place times less and perfect. As a world traveler and chef you know I’m going to be critical of the food. This place is on point delicious. The morning pastries and breads are divine. Steaks amazing pastas delightful and seafood a must. Minutes from city center and shopping. Graycliff and it’s staff was exactly what we needed to escape LA Covid blues. They follow strict guidelines and social distance mask and gloves but still so amazing. The cottage by the pool is the best! Pool is gorgeous and staff super friendly. Don’t forget to grab some hand rolled cigars and homemade chocolates. Safe travels. This will be my go to every time! …
We were wandering around Nassau in the morning and dropped in for coffee and orange juice. The main sitting/dining rooms are quite lovely, with lots of light. Very historical theme in main rooms. Grounds are beautiful as well.We sat near the front windows and enjoyed fresh pressed coffee. Service was friendly and professional.
we visited graycliff during afternoon. We have been to the chocolate factory and they offer us two chocolates ! employees was really nice. the factory was already close . We have meeting Shane Miller at the pool Close to the cigar shop. He was very kind and teach about the rum of nassau. we spend amazing time with him and to the nice place. He tell us about the story of the swimming pool too. Such a nice time !!!
It's hard to imagine that three blocks north of the hustle and bustle of Nassau's main drag, there is a whole other side to Nassau. Graycliff is a beautiful historic property full of charm. The rooms are a charming combination of classical decor and modern amenities like Bulgari toiletries, thick white towels, comfortable bed, large bathroom and lots of closet and storage space. The pool is beautiful.and I enjoyed walking the grounds. At night the restaurant becomes the "Who's who" of Nassau, great for people watching. The main restaurant is very expensive but there is also a pizzeria and a churrasco restaurant also on the property. Other restaurants are a short walk or taxi ride away. It's a totally different world than BahaMar or Paradise Island and we loved that. It was a great way to finish our stay in the Bahamas.…
Great location, food and service. LIVE MUSIC is absolutely fantastic. The steak was fabulous and conch salad was delicious as well. I loved the crepe suzette... Our waiter was so nice and welcoming. He explained us the story of the restaurant and the hotel as well.
