This is an older but well maintained efficiency apartment-type building in a quiet residential neighborhood. It is maybe five minutes away from the Nassau airport. We are not aware of any restaurants or stores near the property. Amenities include air conditioning, swimming pool, cable TV, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker, and hair dryer. It is a 2-story building, and there is no elevator. There is no front desk, so it is important to contact the property by phone, WhatsApp, or email at least 72 hours before coming to make arrangements for transportation and check-in. When you arrive, you need to have with you the credit card you used for making the reservation. Round trip airport transportation is included in the price of your stay. Our suite had a small kitchen/dining area separate from the bedroom. The kitchen was stocked with a good variety of snacks/foods for light meals, and beverages, including wine and beer. There is a price list for food and drinks posted in the kitchen, and the prices were very reasonable. You settle up in cash with the host when you leave. The property is not fancy, but it is comfortable, clean and affordable. The only concern I had was the lack of accessibility for people with disabilities. Our host/driver, Micah, was very courteous and helpful. I highly recommend BELL at the Airport for a place to stay overnight as you pass through Nassau to make a flight connection.

Stayed here in January, 2021. Met the owner myself. Really nice/jovial guy and trying his very best to provide best possible service.

Positives

1. Picked and dropped from airport at no extra cost (this is a big protection from dealing with the local taxi drivers who charge a lot).
2. Room smelling very nice.
3. The room bar is excellent. Many things to eat or drink at (most importantly) very very reasonable prices. So no need to go and search for food after the flight.
4. The shower pressure is extremely strong and very hot. Probably the best thing of this hotel.
5. Internet speed is very good. No problem to stream ‘you tube’ videos whole evening.
6. The room also has a fan in case one dislikes using AC (like I do).
7. Plenty of plug points near the bed.
8. Perfect location for a airport hotel.

Negatives

1. No protection from noise of neighbors staying in adjacent rooms (the hotel has 4 rooms only). Luckily, they all went to sleep in night time. But in case, you want to sleep in afternoon, it may be impossible.
2. The room has too many things and almost no walking space. Too many carpets, too many pillows, too much crockery. I recommend in times of COVID, to remove as many things as possible from the room (leaving only what is necessary) to have a control on the cleanliness part after every guest leaves.
3. The bathroom ceiling near the wash basin is quite low and can be problem for taller people, 6ft+.
4. The mattress still has its original plastic cover on (when received, when new) and it feels strange, when sleeping on it.

Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. Except, if you want to sleep in the afternoon, this may not be the ideal choice.

Bell at the Airport is a great place! It is spotlessly clean and all the paint is fresh.

We stayed here for one night before and after a week on Andros Island. The owner, Micah, picked us up at the airport, took us to the hotel, and drove us to dinner later that night (Archie’s, the on-site restaurant, was not open yet.) The same drill on our second stay – pickup and drop off at the airport in timely fashion. One of our flights left at zero dark thirty.

The fridge in our room was nicely stocked with cold drinks at reasonable prices. Snacks, too.

Micah stored our excess luggage for us while we were on Andros, so we didn’t have to travel with all the stuff we’d needed for colder places.

We ate at Archie’s on our second stay. It was good.

This is the perfect place to stay for an overnight in Nassau.

BTW – don’t count on your US phone working in the Bahamas. Our AT&T phones had bars but were pretty useless. We bought a Jitney Mobile eSIM right away; it was cheap and worked well.

If you’re connecting with one of the local air carriers to an island, give yourself lots of time. Same-day service seems to count as on time. One of our flights was 2 hours late; the other left 2 hours early.

This place was clean. It has a nice small swimming pool out back. The facility has a gated area at the front that leads to the rooms. The rooms have amenities such as snacks and beverages similar
to what one would find in a mini bar in a hotel room. The room was clean. The facility is about a 15 minute walk to the Traveler’s Rest restaurant.

Room Tip: Walking to the beach takes about 10 minutes. It is located up a hill and at the end of the road.

We loved The Bell so much that we stayed there three times as we bounced around the islands during our Bahamas vacation. Micah is an amazing human being. He was extremely kind and helpful. His pickup at the airport is indeed a must as no taxi driver or food delivery guy has ANY idea where this place is. Which is wonderful - that means it is tucked away and quiet in a safe little neighborhood. We loved that aspect. Far from the rush, the loud city noises, etc.
The beds were comfortable, water pressure was good in the shower, lovely quiet pool area. The little kitchenette was perfect for us, and we loved Micah's pre-stocked food items for a reasonable price, so we didn't have to shop or order out our first night. (Tip: To-Go orders for food in the Bahamas take a long time, order at least an hour before you are hungry.)
Micah was very responsive to questions and requests; really knows how to run a business. He is such a kind and gentle man. We were very happy in the Bell at the Airport!
Thank you, Micah for making our stay so comfortable. We appreciate you!

Micah, the owner, was great - he picked us up from the airport in the afternoon and drove us back the next morning. The room was clean and had all of the essentials we needed for our stay. The neighborhood was safe and we were able to walk the 15 minutes to a couple of restaurants for dinner and breakfast.

This hotel is small and privately owned. The owner Micah is so nice and helpful. The rooms are very clean, spacious and include (at additional cost) drinks and snacks. That is very welcomed when you get there late and tired and just want a light snack.
Micah picked us up at the airport (he was waiting for us when we arrived) and took us back promptly in the morning to catch our connecting flight. We had a lot of luggage and he was very helpful and accommodating. Price is great for the services (incl free transport to and from airport. We will def stay there again! Perfect for when you are making connections to outer islands and need to overnight. Hotel has a pool but we got there too late to use it. It looked nice.

Stayed there one night on each end of a week long trip out to one of the remote Bahamas islands. Owner is a strong communicator, trustworthy, very helpful and accommodating. Second floor unit I stayed in was clean, well maintained and appointed, attractively decorated, comfortable. Gated courtyard well lit and pretty. Owner willingly carried my heavy suitcase up/down the stairs! Without a car, there's not much nearby, but is was perfect for my overnight needs and I would definitely stay there again.

Expedia booked us here after we were forced to stay the night in Nassau due to flight itinerary changes. We stayed in one of the upstairs rooms it had separate kitchenette with food options - we didn’t eat anything at we were just there overnight to catch another flight. It was clean the bed was comfy and we were picked up from the airport and given a wake up call in the morning to leave again. Service was excellent.

If I were to stay for a lengthy period of time the accommodation would be ideal. Overall a good experience.

This hotel is a a great value hotel only one mile from the airport. Micah was there to pick us up on time. He was very helpful getting us checked in quickly so we could relax. The room was spacious and clean. The grounds are very nice and food is offered in the pool/bar area after 5:00. Micah arranged to take us to the airport the next morning at no extra charge. This is a great hotel for a layover or even for a budget stay in Nassau.
