My husband and I go to the Yoga Retreat for 10 days every February, for our wedding anniversary. We fly into Nassau and then take a taxi to the ashram boat ramp. Our taxi drivers have always been fun and informative and the price for the ride is always the same. The ashram sits on only 5 acres of land,...

I stayed at Sivananda for 12 days in a tent hut and had the most amazing time! I loved the yoga, meditation and chanting that we did everyday and the beach was absolutely beautiful. I attended some workshops by Katie Ambika Papo on Yoga, Stress and Food, and she was totally awesome! Katie has great energy and a wonderful sense...

Yoga Vacation, that's what I searched the internet for over 10 years ago and that simple search brought me to a place that I would call my home away from home for the next 10 years. It then lead me to the Teacher Training Program and a transformation that can't be put into words, I also made countless wonderful and...

Spent 7 nights here attending a 5 day Non-Violent Communication workshop led by the amazing Dian Killian, Feb '15. Maybe being involved in that course, with the amazing atmosphere of love, empathy and support that blossomed in our group, at a pivotal and painful time in my life affects my view but even without that I think I would give...

My son and I did the teacher training together. Lectures and material presented with love. Beautiful peaceful energy of the ashram ever present. Days were long but kinda fun. Learned and retained an awful lot. Met beautiful people from around the world. Course may be challenging for some but my son and I sailed thru it almost effortlessly. Slept peacefully...

I didn't know what to expect from my visit. This was something I had considered for years. I finally got the time and opportunity to go for my TTC. I stayed in the tent huts and am thoroughly impressed. It is a great community/family running the Ashram. Most people are very friendly. It is a place of serenity. You have...

I came the day after thanksgiving. The moment I got to the island I felt the positive energy. This place is amazing! I came for the the teacher training, and came a week early. At first I didn't like it, I was confused to say the least. The longer I stayed, I fell in love with the culture. Your ego...

My first visit to the Sivananda ashram was a very rejuvenating 5 day stay. The location on a tropical island makes for good weather and sunny days. The ashram offers a sustained and mature spiritual practice, plus healthy food - a yoga diet. The staff was friendly and helpful. All in all, it was a great visit in every. If...

I enjoyed my stay here last winter, including the vegetarian food, no onions, no garlic. In line with the yogic teachings, and knowing well this is an ashram, it met all my expectations, and more. The really open and friendly community, atmosphere is very welcoming. I met a few repeat visitors, and will likely be a repeat visitor as soon...
