Detailed Reviews
Suite is huge and has a full kitchen, living area, two TVs and a safe. Lots of shaded areas to relax around the property, including two pools that are open to 10pm. Strong WiFi in the room. Toiletries and fresh towels, including pool towels, provided every day. Yes, the room is dated and could use a fresh coat of paint, but this is excellent value for money on an otherwise expensive island.
Cabbage Beach, a must-visit, is a 7-min walk if you take the shortcut the staff show you, not the Google Maps route. Atlantis is a 5-min walk.
They also own Anthony's and Dunkin Donuts so you get 10% off if you go.
Cornell, the security guard, is a friendly and helpful gentleman.

Stayed here for a week in February 2020. The location on Paradise Island was excellent because it is 5 minutes to Cabbage Beach (which is beautiful) and 7 minutes to the Atlantis, local shopping and the ferry which you take to go to Nassau. It is in a gated, secure area with two pools, small restaurant and bar on site. The suite had a kitchenette that has everything you need to cook. The room was fairly clean, good size and service was good.

Having to stay in Nassau for 1 night due to a business trip, I decided to stay at this hotel. After the short registration I was positively surprised about the size of the room which is most likely like an appartment. It was equipped with a living room and a fully equipped kitchen and a sleeping room. Breakfast could either be prepared in your own kitchen or being ordered at a small restaurant located at the pool area.
This hotel is perfectly located in Paradise Island and many restaurants are nearby and are in walking distance.
Also the rate of about USD 120,- was very convenient considering the location.

Couldn’t decide between Atlantis or Bay View....
Went with Bay View and so pleased I did.
Lovely staff, friendly and welcoming.
Very helpful. Gardens kept beautifully and pools clean.
The apartment was spotless and cleaned daily with fresh towels, soap, shampoo etc. Ample utensils to cook with.
Nice and secluded, peaceful..went to Atlantis for the day...overcrowded, noisy and ostentatious

A great place to stay on Paradise Island!
The property is a bit dated, needs a bit of love and is not on the water but other than that, it's a great place to stay.
Our room, a King Suite was LARGE and very comfortable, it was well appointed with a full kitchen and a comfortable backyard.
The property is cozy, lush with plants, it has 3 pools all of decent size and two laundry facilities.
The dining available on property is good but not available 7 days a week, only Thursday to Sunday and 10 am - 3 pm. Dining off property is limited and pricy. Get your food and alcohol off of Paradise Island (20 min walk across the bridge) the value is WAY BETTER as is the selection.
Now for the best part of the resort - the people there were great, staff and guests alike - friendly and real, no pretentions.
This is not a loud, crazy property, it is laid back and relaxing.

I was assigned a second story room because the clerk thought I would feel more safe since I was traveling alone, but I requested and was given a room on the first floor as I didn't want to cart up my suitcase. There are no elevators. I was surprised at how big my suite was. It had a sitting room, full kitchen, bathroom, large bedroom, and private patio. The kitchen was well-stocked so you could easily cook some meals for yourself. My room was clean and very comfortable. It was very quiet. The staff was helpful and friendly. The beach is not easy to find, but the hotel is close to Cabbage Beach. You can walk to a decent shopping area for groceries, restaurant food, and souvenirs. I'm glad I stayed here.

Great value for money! Our suite was huge with a full kitchen and living room. It's pretty basic and dated in terms of decor but perfectly clean and functional. If you want anything fancy then go spend $2-$3k a night at the nearby resorts. The pool was nice and clean. Breakfast was great and very inexpensive. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Only downside was it costs $20 taxi to go to downtown, but you can walk to Atlantis and eat or shop at Marina Village. I guess you can also get a day pass for Atlantis, we didn't but if we had small kids we would have done.

Stayed here 4 nights and it was awesome. Definitely getting what you pay for, there’s nothing glamorous but that was part of the reason we loved it. Your suites are in the middle of a tropical garden with plants, flowers, birds and cats all around the property. We had an upper suite with a front deck which we loved in the morning drinking coffee. There’s two great pools that were hardly crowded which made for a lovely post beach relaxation. The suites themselves are dated like the other reviews mentioned but pretty big and very clean.
It is walking distance to cabbage beach and pretty much anywhere on Paradise Island including Atlantis and the Four Seasons. We walked across the bridge to Nassau a few times but the front security was also always helpful in calling a taxi for us whenever we needed. The 24 hour security made us feel safe and their warm greetings were a highlight of the days. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here for a few nights in December after leaving Abaco another Island in The Bahamas to deal with many issues due to hurricane Dorian.(Banks, insurance etc.) Most of the staff were always friendly and smiling which was great. The gentlemen in the office as you enter was also very helpful with helping us extend our stay so close to Christmas. The grounds are beautiful with all the trees. Although we did not swim in the pool it sure did look inviting. My only complaint would be the lady taking orders at the breakfast bar. Bad attitude, she made you feel as if you were a burden. :( We understand everyone has a bad day but we experienced two days back to back. As a fellow Bahamian it was sad this attitude was a reflection of Bahamian character. Housekeeping staff very friendly! All in all I would recommend to a friend.

The suites are large but amenities are very dated. Two nice pools. The suite was clean but appliances are worn and well used. There is no grocery store nearby to purchase food, so plan accordingly. It was a 10-15 min. walk to the Mariner’s Village with a deli and pizza restaurant but pricey. The on-site cafe was closed for our 3 day visit. The Bayview is an affordable option for families that want to prepare meals to save money as Bahamas is expensive for the average traveller.
