Comfort Suites Paradise Island is celebrated for providing guests with complimentary access to Atlantis amenities and a free breakfast, though the variety and quality of the morning meal sometimes receive criticism. The cleanliness of the rooms and public areas is widely applauded, yet opinions on the hotel's value are divided due to unexpected fees and some dated accommodations. While many travelers find the staff to be friendly and helpful, others have encountered long waits and occasional rudeness. The hotel's location near the marina and restaurants is frequently praised, despite mixed feelings about the on-site atmosphere and room conditions.

I traveled to The Bahamas with my family and we had an amazing stay at Comfort Suites. It often gets overlooked when compared to the properties directly on the Atlantis property, but don't count out Comfort Suites. It really is just a few minutes walk from the entrance to Atlantis, even my 5 year old never complained. We filled up on a complimentary hot breakfast every morning, which isn't offered at any of the Atlantis resorts. This allowed us to save so much on food throughout our stay. There were daily offerings of scrambled eggs, waffles, toast, fresh fruit, cereal, assorted pastries, coffee, juice and a rotation of bacon/sausage and hash/grits/potatoes. The staff at Comfort Suites went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our time in The Bahamas. Everyone was wonderful, from the managers to the housekeepers. We enjoyed the lemon and cucumber-infused water available in the lobby every day. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were clean and included a mini fridge, coffee maker and microwave. There was also a hair dryer and an iron. Rooms are on the smaller side, but easily accommodated my family of 4. We didn't spend much time in the room anyway. When we arrived we were given our passes for the week for Atlantis, we just had to stop by the desk in the lobby at Atlantis to pick up our wristbands each morning. There was never a line for this, we were able to get them right away each morning. The restaurant on site, Crusoe's, had AMAZING Conch Fritters and offered a 'kids eat free' deal where the kid's meal was free with purchase of an adult entrée. The pool area was clean and never crowded. Towels readily available. We didn't spend much time there as our days were spent at Atlantis but would've been perfect if we needed a little down time. The location worked out perfectly for our excursion to Rose Island with the swimming pigs as the marina was very close - much closer than if we had stayed at one of the Atlantis resorts. I highly recommend considering Comfort Suites if you're looking to explore Atlantis without breaking the bank.

The room was quiet, clean, and it worked for 3 family members including my elderly dad. We appreciated the wheelchair accessible routes throughout the hotel. That enabled my dad to also participate in the pool and complementary breakfast buffet. Staff were very welcoming. I’d come back here.

This is our second time staying at this hotel. We chose this property on price, free breakfast and the amenities provided to access all of Atlantis free of charge. Front desk personnel were always friendly and helpful. The breakfast staff has tremendous work ethic. They are always cleaning, assisting guests and refilling food. The breakfast is a nice offering as it does offer savings over paying for this meal. Access to Atlantis is a quick 10 minute walk. The area around this property is clean and safe. The location also offers walk ability to several restaurants. The downfall to this property is the age and the fact no updates have been performed in the hallways or its rooms. The hallways have a very musty smell. The rooms need to have the larger TVs, bulk amenities and updated light fixtures. Since we enjoyed more time out of our room, we just accepted the “downfalls”.

Bedrooms smelled moldy and musty and we were not able to open the sliding patio door for fresh air (it was locked permanently). The bathrooms had brown corners and were functional but really old and gross. The sofa bed is only for small kids. We stayed here on Choice Points for the Atlantis access. With free breakfast we thought it would be a great value - and it was but really not worth the hassle or conditions. Here's why:
Check-in took forever as each person takes at least 15 minutes to check-in and be given an explanation and the line starting at 3 pm is really long. I think we waited about an hour to check-in.
Free Hot Breakfast is served in a very small room and you don't want to sit outside unless you can guard your food from the aggressive birds. Quality was fine and sufficient, not many choices. The process to get Atlantis bands has you walking to the bottom of the Royal (you'll go through the Dig Aquarium to get to the water park) which takes about 8-10 minutes, and then you may wait in a line that is 15-40 minutes long to get your band. Every adult needs their ID (or pic of it) and their orange card from Comfort Suites. This must be done EVERY DAY and is a huge time waste. We had to pay the service charge of ~$50 per person over 11 years per night, even when staying on points, it didn't make it that much cheaper than staying at the Coral at Atlantis with older kids.
Pros: They will hold your luggage on your last day in a secure room which is great. The employees were all kind to us. Bahamians are straight forward in their culture so don't expect Japanese politeness. We had two rooms due to a family of 5 (and relatives) and if I had to do it again, I would book at Harbor or Coral. I did not feel it was worth all the time wasted and the awful rooms for the money that was saved.

I’ve stayed at Comfort Suites several times in the past, but it’s been a few years since my last visit, and I can honestly say I was not disappointed. Once again, we had an amazing experience. The rooms are spotless, the staff is incredibly friendly and always willing to help with anything we need. Some of the standout features include free Wi-Fi, a delicious complimentary breakfast, and full access to all the amenities at Atlantis.

We usually start our day with the hotel breakfast, then take the short 5-minute walk to Atlantis, where the kids enjoy the rides and attractions. In the afternoon, we head back to Comfort Suites to relax by the pool and enjoy the complimentary rum punch party. We also dined at Carusoe’s, the hotel’s restaurant, and the food was fantastic—especially the conch fritters, which were out of this world!

Comfort Suites is the perfect place for families, and even though my kids are now teenagers, we’ve been coming here since they were little, and they still love it. It’s truly a wonderful spot for a family getaway.

I stayed two nights in this property mainly due to the fact that it had free access to the Atlantis. Excellent choice because the climate was not the best and the Atlantis has many leisure facilities, such as: water park, casino, various shops and restaurants...Access also includes beach towels, sunbeds on the beach and sunbeds at the pool! 👍
I booked about a month before and a few days before my arrival I checked the availability again and it was almost €250 less ☹️ probably due to the weather not being great... I recommend booking a few days before in periods that are not very crowded, it has many rooms ..
The structure looks quite good. To get to our room there were various corridors to cross with a significant smell of humidity and the carpet on the floor did not allow easy transport of suitcases.
I must say the rooms are comfortable and spacious with a sitting area, always tidy and clean.
There is a nice swimming pool, which I didn't use for the few days I stayed.
Breakfast not the best. For me it was also fine since eggs, bread and bacon were always there, but very little would be enough to make it a more decent buffet... I've never seen waffles like this, they looked like
eraser. ☹️
For lunches/dinners the hotel has a restaurant which I have not tested, but inside and outside the Atlantis there are many solutions, for example: Nobu, ShakeShake, pizza, a restaurant at 70$/p.p with buffet dinner...
Once you arrive here on Paradise Island it will be difficult for you to move except to go to different beaches. One evening around 6pm we wanted to take a walk in the centre, just to see the town too: total desert. Not a soul. 40 minutes on foot to go and 40 to return 🫠
Everything closes at 5pm. At least in January.
Finally, last tip, bring some $ because Uber doesn't exist and the "taxis" that are there don't have pos. From the airport they want at least $50.
P.s: sorry for the papyrus, but that would have been the info I would have liked to read before going!
In conclusion, I would return.

Stayed here paid $800 for 2 nights, deffinitely not worth it, breakfast was like prison food, had to go to another hotel nearby to get breakfast. Very pricey and not worth the money, better places to stay round that area for a cheaper price. The Que for breakfast was very long and the food was tasteless and cheap. Staff were rude when checking in and I had to keep asking for help which I was not receiving for the washing machines.

This place is not great we arrived the first night lucking forward to getting in our own beds, they had no rooms with 3 beds in only a double and a sofa, but we booked for 3 doubles, the next morning we went out then came back and they said we have another room so we went then that room was the same so we complained, we got moved for the 3rd time into a room witch would sleep 4 comfortably, the room was very run down and inadequate the toilet flush was hanging off, there was a clear smell of damp and it stunk but we got on with it and there was poo stains on my sons mattress which we was very unhappy about. let’s begin on the BREAKFAST I would prefer to eat prison food than eat the appealing food they had to offer. The waffles was sour on our first day so my son and daughter wouldn’t touch them for the rest of the stay also the toast was soggy and not cooked, the corn flakes were soft the majority of the time and the fruit was warm. It is not a buffet at all the staff serve it u. While having breakfast the room cleaning trollers we’re going through the room where we would of ate, one morning there was 5 in the space of 15 minutes, we ended up going over to the beautiful Atlantis for breakfast. the receptionist, they were very unhelpful and fake towards us they tried charging my wife extra for no reason. We stayed here 6 years ago and it was 100% better than the rundown unorganised place it is now. The only advantage of staying here is the Atlantis tickets but u have to queue everyday to get ur tickets.

I am happy we chose Comfort Suites to experience Atlantis. It is in a good location right next to The Coral Towers of Atlantis by Marina Village and another shopping area with a small grocery store and Anthony's restaurant, which we enjoyed and is reasonably priced. It is a 15 min walk to the main pool at Atlantis. We brought a bookbag cooler and packed drinks each day and brought snacks. I was disappointed to find out when we arrived that the policy had changed and you have to obtain a bracelet everyday by the aquarium. However, we noticed the bracelet was the same color on the 2nd day and just kept that one on for the rest of our trip. The hotel is clean and the mattress was comfortable, however the pillows can be upgraded. We were in room 231 which was a great location right in front of the door for the pool/breakfast and the exit is close by as well. If you are a light sleeper I would request a room on the 3rd floor. The breakfast is okay. It the same each day, eggs, waffles, pastries, fruit, toast, sausage, juices...it serves its purpose. My husband did not like the coffee. The pool is warm and felt good after a long day at Atlantis. It wasn't crowded and we enjoyed the music at the pool and nice lounge chairs and towels. The music at the main pool in Atlantis is horrible except for the one day they had a DJ. We did not eat at the hotel. There were 5 of us with the youngest being 17. This hotel might not be ideal with young kids although I don't think Atlantis is for young kids as it is a far walk and there aren't many ramps for strollers. I saw many crying children and burnt out parents. Check in was quick and the cleaning staff was friendly. I recommend a tip jar at breakfast for the workers.

Everyone was so nice at the hotel. The bartenders were very friendly and the food at the restaurant was good. We went for a cheer competition and got put in this hotel as overflow from Atlantis. I will use this hotel again in the future it's a close walk to Atlantis close walk to the beach you get all the amenities of Atlantis two free complimentary bottles of water free breakfast. I would like to give a special shout out to our housekeeper Rhonda she was so friendly and always acknowledged my baby girl and talked to her about her trip. Our room was always spotless she went above and beyond and folded our clothes that we had in the bathroom. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends.

The teen nightclub is on a first come first serve basis and you have to sign up in advance for a spot. I think preference would be given to people at the Atlantis and then opened up if there is room to others.
