Location on the beach is good.
Resort could use some tlc.
I think there was 12 visitors here during our stay.
Out of 44 units, they may have been 4 occupied.
Pool bar stays open till 4 each day. If you stay here you
are required to pay $125 to the pool bar or it’s added to bill
at check out. Also, they charge $140 per week for electricity.
There is a bar/restaurant right next door “Cabbage beach bar
and grill” not associated with resort but attached to building.
Ask for Marcus he’s your server and bar tender “ mixologist”
Very friendly guy, working college student.
Villas are comfortable, in need of updating and minor maintenance. Views from balcony are great.

We were lucky to get an ocean view room and the view was incredible. Cabbage beach is one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen. The room was large enough for 4 of us, some maintenance is needed in and around the villa, but overall, I was there for the beach and the sun, so that didn't bother me too much. I would definitely suggest getting groceries for your stay, restaurants are expensive, so it helped to have the full kitchen there to save some from having to spend so much at the restaurants. Things have slowed down during Covid, not much happening at Atlantis at all, and many restaurants were out of things (no conch salad or lobster at several places we went) However, I would highly recommend going to the cabbage beach bar on the side of the resort for amazing Conch Salad made fresh before your eyes. One thing that did bother me was on the weekend, it seems like the restaurant staff let a bunch of people who were not guests of the resort use the pools and hang out on the chairs at the beach smoking pot in the evening right at the bottom of the stairs to the beach access. I know they weren't guests because I heard someone ask them. I mentioned it to the desk clerk but she said she didn't know anything about it.

CONS: Beach access with chairs is only available when the staff shows up, can be anytime between 9am-10am even though told its 9-5 each day. Every room I've stayed in over the past 5 years has an issue, toilet handles not working, clogged drains, the faucets are rusty and need replacing, this year they only had fleece blankets no comforters on the bed. three washers and dryer's available to use, only 1 of each works. The pool gives the kids a rash every year, too many chemicals?
PROS: walking distance to Atlantis marina and aquarium for the kids. Private Beach.

This place needs a makeover as its liking stepping back to the 70's. All rooms do not have ocean view and need some modernization. Pool bar often closes early like 6PM. You must charge at least $125 at pool bar or you will be charged for it anyway. Dont return beach towels charge, dont return key cards charge, you have to pay a extra energy tax of $137. Everything is a cab ride of at least $20 away. But the staff is very friendly and beach is great. Its just needs some updates.

We were let in our units 40 minutes beyond check in time because it was being "cleaned". We had to clean several areas once we got in there, like sticky gunk all over the top of a nightstand. Lots of maintenance problems in our unit and despite reporting it, no one came from maintenance all week...for instance in the second bathroom, an overhead light over the sink was hanging down from its housing about 6 inches exposing wires. Small pools and uncomfortable lounge chairs. The resort is right on beautiful Cabbage Beach but for our week, the waves were too strong to go in the ocean.
Staff was helpful getting us taxis and were friendly.

The most extraordinary resort experience you will ever have! The Powder soft sands & the calm crystal blue ocean provides for a fabulous beach experience. The resort provides for a safe, clean and wonderful lodging experience. The grounds are gorgeous. The people are warm & welcoming. The entire atmosphere is beautiful & inviting. This has become my home away from home. My escape from the everyday hustle & bustle to a place that I can exhale! Enjoy the sunsets overlooking the ocean in a Romantic environment sipping a tropical drink or enjoying a scrumptious meal. Ahhh...This is Paradise!

My wife and I stayed at PIBC last week! It was a really great time. Our unit was beachfront and offered great views from the balcony. The sunsets were some of the best I have seen anywhere. The bed was very comfortable. I slept great all week. The beach was extremely nice (free chairs and umbrella as well, just tip guy) . Water was very clear. It was a little rough getting into the water (waves and undertow) when we were there. Martha Smith and the rest of the staff there were all awesome! We also met some very nice people there during our stay that were owners there and they gave us great tips on where to go outside the resort. There are two very casual eating options onsite (pool bar and another place on the east side). They were both good and featured bahamian food, burgers, wings, etc. We visited the Four Seasons next door for a drink at their bar one evening and Atlantis for their casino once. We had no problems with vendors approaching us on the beach when were there. I had read reviews of cabbage beach prior to going saying that vendors could be irritating. We had awesome time!

The location was excellent right on the beach. The attendants provided beach chairs and set up umbrellas. The property was clean and well-kept good gardens and the pools were kept clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The amenities were in good condition and housekeeping did a good job.

Full disclosure, we not only traded with RCI for here, we also own here.
Paradise Island Beach Club is an older lovely resort directly a magnificent beach. The spacious units are all two bedroom, 2 baths and can sleep 6. The staff is warm, friendly and efficient. The service is great, but this is the Bahamas and you are here to relax on holiday!
There is a small grocery store on property. Be aware, no food is available until 11 AM. So stop at the store for your morning supplies after you check in!
We and most of the owners here have never traded our units. When we saw a unit available during the pandemic we grabbed it!

Location! Haven’t found a better one. Been coming since 1987 as a timeshare owner and have never exchanged, but have exchanged other timeshare to the beach club and rent for extra weeks when we can. Longevity of staff makes it a return to family vacation.

Pardon for the late response but, I don’t live on TripAdvisor. Health ministry provides a list of testing locations. We went to Bay Street medical downtown Nassau. Made an appointment day or two prior. We did not pay for fifth day test. It’s included in health visa cost. Can’t answer about US reentry test it wasn’t a thing when we went. I’d think your fifth day test would suffice if you return within a few days of it. Should be able to show your Bahamas test results. In regards to Electrical fee, yes, they do charge that. Pool bar is a mandatory fee as well. If you don’t use the pool bar they’ll charge you at check out. Lunch and a few drinks will cover that.
