While our ship was in port we decided to go out on our own and booked a snorkeling trip through their website. The ride was fine, but the beach was beautiful! So nice!!! We saw two rays and tons of fish! The conch fritters were fabulous and I enjoyed a bahama mamma! We aren't avid snorkelers so someone who does...

Our Cruise ship stopped in Freeport for the day. Instead of doing a cruise sponsored excursion we rolled the dice and shared a taxi bus with 14 other guests. It was just a stab in the dark. A bunch of people were going and we just joined them. It was about a half hour from the port. The beach was...

We live in Freeport, and often take our guests to snorkel at Paradise Cove. When my mother visited for the first time in November we were happy to take her there. The snorkelling was okay, but the rude staff were completely unacceptable. My mother had never tried a wetsuit before, and the guy working there (named "Elvis") made several rude...

We visited Freeport on the Carnival Glory so our trip to Paradise Cove was a day-trip only. I can tell you that I may well go back there and spend some time, though. We booked our day trip online through their website www.deadmansreef.com because space is limited and we wanted to arrange transportation through them, too. Barry was very prompt...

My husband and I stayed at the Paradise Cove Beach Resort near Freeport, on Grand Bahama Island, on 1/29 and 1/30 2014. Although the weather was lousy, we had a fantastic time with Barry Smith and his staff. Barry took us snorkeling and waited on us hand and foot. The villa was perfect in every way. It was spacious, well...

We went there while cruising with the Carnival Sensation. The snorkeling adventure we took was very fun. At first, we were not so sure as the reef was about 200 meters from the beach but with our guide, we went at our rhythm and ti was great. We saw cute little fish! The beach was beautiful and the water was...

We went to this beach while on a Carnival Cruise since we heard it was the only one we could find where we could snorkel from the beach. The people were friendly and not "pushy" at all. You can rent just what you need. We rented one snorkel set - $9 and one float - $3! Food is very reasonable....

Huge waste of time and money. The day we went, the water was choppy so you couldn't snorkel :( Nothing else on the whole island to do other than shop or drink. Everyone at the "resort" was very rude. A man came chasing us down demanding we pay the $3.00 "resort" fees. We had just rented a car for a...

just got back from a visit to paradise cove beach resort. a 58 year old man who was a former diver and very good swimmer was found floating out by the reef. efforts to resuscitate him were unsuccessful. he was swimming alone and without a life vest(as I usually do). perhaps he had a heart attack? it was very disturbing...
