We were scheduled to stay in the huge hotel across the road (GrandLucayan) for three days and two nights but it has been closed since Hurricane Matthew caused major destruction to the Island and the Grand Lucayan has not yet fixed whatever damage they sustained. It is obvious the economy is struggling. Cruise ships are only recently starting to return....

Nestled in Freeport Bahamas, this Gem of a property hosts spacious guest rooms and suites. The staff is friendly and accommodating from check in to check out. Rooms have a refrigerator and coffee maker along with standard toiletries. There are several pools on property as well as a gym. Hotel us close to the water and other attractions. The breakfast...

I was a guest at this property last week. When my stay was longer than anticipated, I returned to make a new booking. I was harassed and bullied by the security staff when I was trying to make a booking who went so far as to tell me that I was not "allowed" on the property. No reason for this...

Stayed two nights. Large room (317) overlooking water and one of 3 pools. Landscaping and pools clean and neat. Entire resort and my room felt like old Key West. Opened the windows and a beautiful breezy came in. Yes the walls had a chip here and there. And the furniture scuffed but came with fridge, hair dryer, coffee pot and...

Here on business for one night only. Nice suite which was clean and comfortable and fit for task. Lack of room service but that's not really much of an issue. I would certainly stay here again on our next visit.

We were at Pelican Bay for two nights. When we first walked in the room I was disappointed as the venetian blind was ascew and the curtains over the sliding glass door was partially hanging off its rack. This was obviously a housekeeping error. However, after we adjusted them and looked around, everything appeared clean. And, importantly, the bed was...

Many positive things to say about this trip. My room was spacious, equipped with flat screen TV, robes, plenty of towels, coffee machine, extra outlets for charging my phone, and decent Wi-Fi service. I even had time to grab a free cup of yogurt at breakfast. The biggest problem overall was the ceilings fans and furnace blower left on before...

I stayed here again, only because there are very few choices since Hurricane Matthew. The room I was something out of 1970's Motel ( any number) but worse. The beds were terrible, the bathroom dirty, the exhaust fan loud, the black out curtains didn't cover the window. And to top it off a tiny TV with uncomfortable furniture. Sadly, I...

We were placed at Pelican Bay due to Grand Lucayan's hurricane damage. We stayed for 2 night and 3 days and we couldn't have been happier! Our room was perfect for the two of us and we enjoyed our view from the balcony of the marina. The food at Sabor was incredible and so so so delicious! There's 3 different...
