What can I say that hasn't been already said about Shannas. Frank and Gabi the owners are the best! I like a particular beer and asked Frank if he could get some for me. No problem! The beer was there waiting for me. We had trouble with our flights, Frank took care of that too. Like i said they are the best!! on to the food... The food was absolutely amazing. I am a big eater and left every meal absolutely stuffed and very happy!!! I love the fact i don't have to order from a menu for dinner as i always order the same thing. I tried food there I've never had and loved it!! Their staff couldn't have taken better care of us. Frank told us most of them have been with them for 10 years which says a lot how they treat people. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing beach vacation…

This is a resort that is off the beaten path but well worth the stay. It is secluded with its own beach. It has for your pleasure paddleboards and kayaks for your use. The rooms are comfortable and clean with plenty of room. The views are beautiful as you sit on your own veranda. The food is absolutely enjoyable. The chef knows exactly what he is doing with flavors. They also have a very nice well stocked bar. The host and hostess make you feel at home and are a joy to talk with.

This is our second year at Shannas Cove. A piece of paradise all around. The property is great, the restaurant and the meals are unbelievable and the people are the very, very best. One feels welcomed from day one. Guests become friends by the end of ones stay. Before you finish your first trip, you will be planning your next one. Shannas Cove is the very best.

All reviews about Gabbi, Frank and Shanna’s Cove are true. This was our first visit and we were made to feel like we had been there several times. The restaurant served great food (breakfast, lunch and dinner). The prices are very reasonable, considering everything gets shipped in. The quality of the food and Frank’s very potent drinks are excellent. Over 3-days, we didn’t see (1) boat or plane on our walks on the beaches. It was so cool to walk for hours and not see a person. The beaches are pristine. Casual paradise we hope to visit again.

This is our fifth year at Shannas Cove. We love it every time. The accommodations are lovely, the food is amazing, the beach is an unspoiled piece of heaven and both the guests and staff are like family.

feb 20- mar.1st 2019. our 5th or 6th visit, can't remember. This place is unusual for its consistency. There are no bad days, bad meals, bad experiences, nor is anything ever mediocre. And even if you want to complain about something someone would fix it in an instant. They import a brilliant new chef from Austria, Gabi supervises and trains the kitchen, the bar and the room staff. Frank is hilarious, personable, efficient and memorable, very hard not to fall in love with. Thus: Shanna's Cove is a jewel and has a special place in my heart always. 10/10

We had an amazing week at Shannas Cove. It’s quiet, gorgeous and the food was fantastic. So glad we choose this place for our annual trip! It’s was very hard to leave. There were multiple beaches where we wouldn’t see anyone else the whole day. The snorkeling off the beach was good but the water was a little cold. The bone fishing contact the hotel set up was also very knowledgeable about the area.

I hesitate to write this because Shanas Cove Resort is a hidden treasure in the Bahamas and I would like it to stay that way. But, I have already got my reservations for next year ;) Frank and Gabi have a wonderful spot on the beach. They have everything our family needed to enjoy the sun and the beach. They have snorkel equipment, paddle boards, kayaks, towels, chaise lounges, and even sun screen (from past visitors). There are trails for hiking that bring you to deserted beaches that we explored. And the food! Gourmet dinners every night, lovely lunches and breakfasts. Frank helped us get flights from Nassua and walked us through all the questions we had.We can't wait to return next January.

I went scuba diving with Frank in the morning, enjoyed a Greek pizza for lunch, then walked to the deserted and picturesque Man O War beach for a swim. Completely enjoyed the diving - Frank is safety conscious while being laid back and fun, has great equipment and a nice boat. Excellent dives. My husband and I had fun conversation with him, his staff and guests over lunch and after our beach trip, and hope to see Frank and his wife Gabi again on our next trip. Friendly staff and the cleanest restaurant (and bathroom) in the Bahamas with one of the best views. Frank is a supporter of the Cat Island Humane Society and does good work for the island animals. I didn't see the rooms but can only imagine they are lovely. Lots of stone and scattered on the hillside for privacy.

Cat Island is amazing place, and Shanna's Cover Resort lives up to the excellent reviews. Frank and Gabby are super friendly and will cater to your every need. The villas are situated on a hillside, so depending on which villa you get, the views could be very different. We were on the highest villa so while the view was good, it wasn't the best. It put up closer to the main house for meals, but further away from the beach. The food is what you'd except from a 5 star restaurant in Chicago, let alone a remote island in the Bahamas. The beach "stuff", chairs, umbrellas, kayaks, etc could use some updating but the beach is still very beautiful. The room is very well appointed with a very large shower. Overall and excellent resort that deserves its 5 star rating. We have…
