Stayed in one of the older not yet refurbished rooms and it was still lovely. Big bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff. Only problem is the car park situation; I would suggest getting there early to get a space.
This was our second visit the first been three years ago when you would have rated this place as decidedly average for food.
Now after a substantial refurb the food was excellent in both quality and value.
