Booked afternoon tea and arrived and seated in the middle of the restaurant amongst diners, looking very confused as to why we were drinking tea and not eating. Eventually the goodies arrived but not spectacular and was impossible to have a glass of champagne despite a bar with a champagne trough full of Louis Roderer from half bottles up to...

View was beautiful from our room. Room very small ,bathroom tiny. No WiFi in the room. You can here everything! Every footstep upstairs take! The next room snoring! Peoples conversations, no privacy at all, felt like people were in the room with us. Found empty small milk carton down the side bedside cabinet. Wasn't the cleanest hotel I've stayed in. Got...

Not the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, but probably not the best. Problems with hygiene at first. There was a clump of black hairs on the wall of the shower and a pair of men's underpants behind the bathroom door. The receptionist was very helpful though and had the house keeper see to these issues straight away. The...

Genuinely some of the best food I've had in Wales in the last couple of years! Stopped here for a Sunday dinner, and they were able to accommodate us and our baby in cosy table. Very friendly staff without being too familiar. Wonderful choices on menu, could've opted for so much! Baby had sausage pasta. Less than £6 and with...

I've had a meal and stayed here on special occasions with my husband, I've also visited the restaurant in the evenings to celebrate family birthdays. We've never been disappointed, the food is delicious with a varied and interesting menu. Only downside is the vegetarian option has been limited and uninspiring on occasions but at other times it's been fine. A...

Stopped for lunch on an afternoon day trip to Brecon and found an American fried steak with whiskey and sweet corn sauce to die for. Followed by a sticky toffee pudding and ice cream with strawberries to decorate was stunning. Cauliflower in batter side was also a must.

An excellent restaurant with adjoining rooms. Having stayed before we were very impressed with the new(to us) Chef who has taken over the restaurant and is producing excellent food with a very good and interesting choice. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful, the rooms clean and comfortable with all the facilities one requires. We have booked again for...
