Four grandparents, two parents and two grandchildren had a super meal in the restaurant yesterday. Excellent quality, very generous portions, competitive prices and lovely relaxed service. What more could be asked? Will definitely return.

I contacted the restaurant to book a leaving meal for the family before my daughter left to go abroad, it was booked to what i wanted i also mentioned on the telephone that my daughter was leaving and if the cook had time could she please bake a cake which i would pay for. On arrival the restaurant had put banners and a balloon up in the room which i hadnt asked for but it was a lovely gesture, we all was happy with the meal, steaks, chicken, lasagne and my daughter was presented with a bon voyage cake, i am so pleased that i booked there because it made it a special night, they were very helpful from the booking right through until the end. We will be returning again! highly recommended xx

We only live four miles from there but we eat frequently as the food is so good with reasonable prices. Good choice of beers and other drinks. Ample space for parking also. People that i have spoken to who have stayed as guests have given good reports regarding the accomodation.
