Our party of 4 recently returned from a two week holiday in Scotland and Ireland. We were married and traveling with my new wife's sister and brother-in-law, our best friends and witnesses. We stayed at Carrybridge Lodge as it is near Enniskillen, near where my wife's family originates and she and her sister wanted to do some genealogy while visiting....

I note your comments and feel in our defence that i should point out the following. We do not proport to anything other than what we are and extensively advertise the fact that our rooms are clean, basic and comfortable. I note your booking was through an online OTA and our rates of £35.00p.p.p.n for bed and full irish breakfast...

Stayed for 2 nights b+b, hotel is not the classiest I've stayed in but the rooms were clean had hot water, tea making facilities and a heater if the weather was cold. Even more important were the staff, even though there were quite a few younger staff members all were extremely friendly and helpful. The view was beautiful and peaceful....

A lovely location although in a quiet outdoor area, a good place to stop if you are enjoying the lakes or want a quite break. Not for kids unless you are aboard a boat using the river! Not a place for walking as there is no where near hand or river walks . The hotel itself is small, clean and...

Just enjoyed another weekend away in Carrybridge. Food very enjoyable and we would definitely go back again. Staff very accommodating. Would recommend without reservation. This hotel is pet friendly and the Irish coffees are second to none.

We decided to take a good friend out for lunch on Sunday. On arriving we were shown to a table overlooking the harbour. Staff and clientele were very friendly. Had a lovely main course from the carvey - lamb and roast meat was very tasty as was the rest of the meal. Will be back.

Heard the food was good so took a chance on staying here (because I got a deal for £10 each per night). No wonder they need to do deals! Worst room I've ever stayed stayed in. I'm no snob, and have camped on several occasions, but a tent would probably have been preferable. The room:- 1. Small 2. Tatty 3....
