Warm welcome from Patricia, an excellent host. Comfortable and well equipped en suite room, relaxed and friendly atmosphere and superb menu with food of a really excellent standard. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel without hesitation and hope to return very soon.

On the 28th of May, I was part of a dinner party for seven people, with four of us staying overnight. We were met by Patricia, the owner and made to feel both special and welcome. As we were staying the night we went straight to our room to get ready for dinner with friends. We had room 4 or...

After a glorious day at the beach we stopped for dinner on the off chance of a table. Friendly lady owner was very accommodating even although we hadn't booked. Food was great and our well behaved working cocker was also welcomed in the bar as were our two less well behaved children :-) with grandpa also in tow, three generation...

What a great bar for an evening meal - great local food, great chat, and dogs welcome. The staff are really super - so friendly and appreciate your custom. What more could you wish for. Also the well maintained mooring to attach your boat to going ashore. In fact we went ashore again Sunday for a soup lunch - super.

whilst cycling the five ferries stopped here for lunch. The best homemade tomato soup which was welcoming on a cold day. Very varied menu something for everyone, warm and friendly atmosphere. Ideal pitstop for anyone waiting for the ferry

My partner and I, and pet dog, enjoyed a 1 night stay. We had mucked our host around quite a bit with dates beforehand and she had been helpful and obliging to try and accommodate us, and for that we were very grateful. The accommodation is reasonably priced but the room was very nice, the hotel was very clean and...

Just stayed here overnight and found it thoroughly enjoyable. Room was nice with a lovely view across the Kyles of Bute. Very comfy warm bed. Ate in the dog friendly bar. Portions were huge and everything to our satisfaction. Would stop off here again.

A hidden gem on the secret coast. Only stayed one night but it was lovely. Had a lovely large room looking to the back of the hotel. Standard of food in the restaurant was first class and breakfast in the morning was great. Had the full Scottish after a homely bowl of porridge. Staff very helpful and friendly. A great...

Just spent a fab weekend at the Colintraive Hotel. Had read a couple of previous reviews and being extremely fussy my expectations were just OK. However the hotel was absolutely spotless, comfortable and really nicely decorated. The majority of decor was Laura Ashley which complimented the hotel really well. We were in a back room but still had lovely views...
