Angus and Susan made us so welcome when we stayed last week, what a lovely relaxing place to stay. They made us feel like friends rather than paying guest, thank you both.Looking out over to Arran from our bedroom was beautiful and the peace and quiet perfect. They serve such a brilliant breakfast, so much choise. We would stay again...

I stayed here with six friends. I joined the party at the last minute and I very much appreciated that Susan “squeezed me in” although she was officially full. I was in a simple single room, sharing a bathroom with one other person. The house is very nice and well-kept. The meals were outstanding. We had a three-course dinner there:...

I and 4 lady friends stayed here the first night of our 100 mile walk. Angus and Susan set a high standard for a memorable 6 days of walking. The dinner and breakfast were superb. The rooms were very comfortable and we were made to feel very much at home. A great start to our adventure.

We had cycled up the coast of Arran and across from Lochranza on the ferry and then the four more undulating miles to Crossaig Lodge as dusk was setting. Great views and raptors quartering as we reached our destination. Susan was very welcoming and showed us to the "Granny Flat", as she called it, a three bedded, en suite newly...

We had the most relaxing weekend we have had in months. If you want to to a place that it away from the hum drum of everyday life this is the place to go. Angus and Susan make you feel that you have just moved to your own home in a fantastic part of Scotland that is still as it...

The first impression said it all - a muddy driveway with the holes patched with plywood leading to the house with two semi-derelict Land-Rovers parked outside. We had said that we would arrive between 4&5 and were surprised to see a note on the door saying that there would no-one in until 6pm, but we were to make ourselves at...

Stayed with Susan and Angus (although we never saw Angus) for two nights on our way to Islay. Two words describe our stay "absolutely superb!!" Susan made us feel extremely welcome, the suite of rooms was exceptional and the food was outstanding. No more can be said other than we would highly recommend this b n b to anyone. Well...

This was our first visit to Crossaig Lodge, and we were blown away by its location, comfort, food and most engaging hostess. This was the roomiest, classiest place we found on our three week visit to Scotland. The views from the windows were breathtaking, it was quiet beyond belief, and the food was delicious. Susan, the hostess, could not have...

We only stayed in the Crossaig Lodge for one night while doing the Kintyre Way, but we will hopefully be back for more at some stage. Susan picked us up, patiently answered a ton of questions and led us into a nicely decorated, spacious apartment, which provided not only a really comfortable mattress but also a shower with really good...

Alan & Ros, Dunfermline - recommendation:- We have stayed with Susan & Angus over the last ten years both at Balinakill and now twice at Crossaig Lodge. We are never disappointed with our time with them - they are always very welcoming hosts & the food is up to top class standards. Local fresh ingredients, or those sourced from the...
