Booked this last minute for a conference at another hotel as they were oversold - when I looked at the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort and the price via rocketmiles.com I was like wow this is great..then I got there and was disappointed to say the least. First you have to go the the Grand Sandestin which is near impossible...

Rooms were pretty clean w the exception of a washcloth that someone decided to use as toilet paper and throw in closet. Maintenance issues everywhere. Seems extremely run down. Pretty view and great pool area. Wish the rest had matched the common areas. Entire resort very under staffed

When you stay at Leciel, you aren't paying for the room. You're paying for the amenities of the Sandestin Beach and Golf Tesort. HUGE place but with free bike rentals and free kayak rentals and access to multiple pools and private beach. The room was average but if we stayed here again, we would get the bay view. Resort view...

Very much enjoyed the experience. Saw several negative comments on here which turned out to be quite unfounded based on my family's experience. Hands down one of the best hotels we've stayed in at that price point. Originally booked 3 nights and ended up booking a 4th. Sunset over the bay is not to be missed. The only disappointing factor...

We have stayed at this resort before and it was always pretty nice. This trip we booked on very short notice so we were just happy to get in. We were put in the LeCiel area which is, I guess, the "base model" or most basic rooms. The check in was very ho-hum and the lady checking us in did...

I booked here for a convention a business group was having that we were speaking at. We stayed in the LeCiel studios which looked very nice from the pictures. Our conference gave us the option for the leciel studios at $169 per night or the grand sandestin at 350 I believe). We checked in (4 of us- my wife and...

Hotel wasn't as bad as reviews on here said it was. We were upgraded to bay view by simply asking at check in. Speaking of checking in, you cannot check in at actual hotel. You must do so at the Grand Hotel. Ask the guys at the gate when you pull up and they'll tell you which way to go....

My husband and I stayed at LeCiel for 5 nights in June. I reserved through a 3rd party. We thought the hotel was average. Our room was definitely not as bad as some of the reviews would suggest. We had a "resort view," not a bay view. It didn't end up mattering much to us though. I'm sure we would...

Stayed here for 3 nights. It's an older property with small "condo" rooms. I have stayed at a lot of hotels that had bigger rooms. Another Broken Egg is attached to the building and, had really good breakfast and lunch. I would hate to pay resort prices for this property. Didn't see the pool so I can't comment on that....

If you expect good housekeeping when you stay in a hotel move on down the block. The housekeeping was sparatic, inconsistent and managment was unwilling to accomodate the children's nap time saying they had "no control" on the maid service. My daughter asked for the linens and towels herself, made the bed and put the trash in the hall. I'll...
