Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
Right up to the time of check in, Wyndham kept in touch with us, via text and phone call reminding us of our stay. If there were any questions we needed answered they were obliging. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention a very special person, Chrystal. Right from day one of buying our points, Chrystal made sure to answer/ guide us with things we may have not known. She is very honest. If she doesn’t know something she will find out. Very refreshing!!! Great asset to this company. We had Russell for check in, his customer service was top notch. Always smiling and made the check in easy. Like any timeshare property you are guided to the desk to book a time for an information session. ( with an incentive) Perhaps people are not happy with this, but this is how these properties survive and enable us to enjoy the beauty of a vacation. Eric, the manager met us with a positive professional manner. What I like is we are encouraged to call if there any issues we need answered.
As for the rooms. We have a two bedroom lock off, meaning one bedroom deluxe unit and one bedroom suite unit connected.
If you are planning to stay any length of time I would strongly suggest to book a one bedroom deluxe. It comes with a balcony and a full kitchen with regular size appliances, one king size bed ( firm) jacuzzi tub and large shower. Large table with chairs and bench, sofa and chair. Very spacious for two people. Kitchen has your basic cutlery and utensils along with pots and pans.
The one bedroom suite has a very small kitchen , however, it does have a mini stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, fridge dish washer and fridge. There is a small living area and a table to eat on. The kitchen has all your dishes with cutlery, pots and pans. Bathtub/ shower combo is small but sufficient. There is NO balcony I wouldn’t consider this place a five star and there is some signs of wear and tear. I do however find this place comfortable and clean.

First let me begin by thanking God for blessing our family with this trip. This resort is inside “Seascape” and is surrounded by other resorts. Majestic Sun has two buildings—A and B with a parking garage separating them. We learned quickly that you definitely want Building A. It is where the pool and gym are located not to mention a full view of the ocean. Our room did have a beautiful view from the balcony. The one thing that I loved about the location of this resort was easy access to anything. Be sure to check it out!

A couples retreat for a weekend in Destin to use our Wyndham points. We had a small studio, which was clean and comfortable. Beach is a quick walk across the street (too cold the weekend we visted) and there are two resturaunts on site. Spa is next door at Surfside and is a great place to go. Good place for golfers as you are right at the course. Hot tub and indor/outdoor pool were nice, but a long walk in the cold windy afternoon. Check in was very good and staff was friendly.

We called to tell them we needed a handicap room as my husband is a cancer patient and I have several herniated disc. When we go into the room the smell about knocked us down. It was extremely small with a view of a parking lot and dirty. It is on a walkway and when anyone goes by they can see in your room and it is noisy. We went to the front desk telling them we needed a handicap room and they said that's what we were in. What disabled person can climb into a tub? They said they had no other rooms available. We are Wyndham owners and this is not what we expected.

Very disappointed with our accommodations at Wyndham Majestic Sun. We’ve stayed here before and had really good rooms but… It was very reminiscent of an old Super 8 in need of renovations. The room smelled rancid, the décor was old and dumb, the fridge wouldn’t stay closed, the TVs were tiny, you had to whisper because the walls were thin, the tub had sandpaper on the bottom so you couldn’t take a comfortable bath. The pool was nice but crammed full of kids – literally 20 kids in a hot tub made for 8.

Excellent facility and we were so close to the water. The views are spectacular from the condo Liked that the place had multiple elevators and a baggage cart that made arrival very easy. The place is in close proximity to Destin and surrounding areas.

Nice stay. We stayed in January so too cold to go to the beach, but I can see it would be a great play for couples or family in the summer. Check in was quick and easy with checkout being the same. I would stay again. Friendly staff, clean and well-kept rooms, safe environment. Close to restaurants and stores.

Aaron is absolutely wonderful-yes he works for Wyndham but is not pushy!!! Advised us of great local restaurants and things to do on a rainy day. Room was clean and very updated with all the appliances we needed as we had rented a condo for a week. Just steps across the street to the great beach! Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is only 1 pool heated in winter and crowded at certain times of day. Not catered to winter people wanting to escape the cold of home as ocean is way to cold to swim in so would have been nice to have had more pools open. Very quiet and centrally located to multiple restaurants / outlet mall/ activities. Definitely would like to go back

The condos were clean. Dishware and cleaning items provided. Loved the wristband keys. The staff were friendly. They had snacks and water in the lobby. Parking is $10 which covers your entire stay. The beach view from the balcony was amazing.

Five girls stayed at the Wyndham Majestic Sun for a girls trip in September 2023. We had a two bedroom unit which was perfect and had a great view of the ocean. The beach was amazing, the room was awesome, and we could easily walk to the coffee shop and souvenir shops. Parking in the garage Was always easy. We never had to wait on the elevator. I would highly recommend you can come in during September.

No access to private beach but beach just across the road is patrolled, swept clean daily, and is very wide. Beautiful white sands that you walk for miles in either direction
There are more places to choose from in the Miramar Beach area.
