We stayed at the Meadows in April 2017 for one night whilst riding the off road Capital Trail MTB route. The Meadows is sited a short distance from the village centre with its shops, restaurants and a pub. We were able to store our bikes in the garage. The accommodation was excellent as was the breakfast which we needed to...

I stayed there in the beginning of September but I just have a chance to make a comment on it, so I owe them a nice comment. By the way I'd like to say merry Xmas to Margaret and her lovely family! I have been hosted for five days and she prepared me a very delicious breakfast. She offered me...

I booked this room during my walk across southern Scotland and having located it tucked away in a modern housing estate in the charming village of West Linton, was warmly welcomed by the owner and her dog. The room was a large twin room so I had plenty of space to myself and everything was neat and tidy with an...

We arrived late in the evening after a long drive from Hertfordshire, and were welcomed with open arms by the bubbly owner who was a very interesting person as well as incredibly kind. The twin bedroom in which we stayed had wonderful bedding with extremely comfortable beds. The Wi-Fi connection was very strong and could be received from the bedroom,...

Lovely little bed and breakfast run by a lovely couple I came here on business and had a lot of bags and every night when I came in from work the lady had the door open for me and helped me with my bags. Breakfast cooked every morning of your choice which was very nice!

A b&b pocketed away in a housing estate, we found we were welcomed by the lady of the house. Our rooms were comfortable and our breakfasts were delicious with fresh fruit, hot cooked breakfast, plenty of options. Clean rooms, and very comfy beds. Overall all thumbs up from UK & Scottish Ghost Nights

The Meadows is situated in a quiet road, has lovely clean and comfy rooms and the most wonderful breakfasts, with a good choice of menu. You can also choose what time you eat! Margaret, who runs the B and B, is friendly and helpful. There is a great, relaxed atmosphere and it provides tremendous value for money.

Very comfortable en-suite rooms (I've stayed in all three of them) in a quiet and peaceful setting. The breakfasts are excellent, Margaret is most welcoming and the beds are very comfortable. You can either drive into Edinburgh in about fifteen minutes or jump on the bus, visit some of the attractions in the area (Rosslyn Chapel is only a short...
